I've heard a lot of horrible songs throughout my life. But the list would be endless.

The list is endless but this one sticks out as one of the worst ever

With some reservations, I'm a Kanye fan.. well I don't wish him any specific harm, but this tune Touch the sky made me amazed at its wretchedness the first time I heard it, basically how to ruin a 70s pop soul classic in 3 easy steps. Kanye rips off one of the great soul songwriters (the hapless Curtis Mayfield who, felled by a falling piece of equipment while playing live in 1990 had been dead for five years by the time Touch the sky came out) by sampling one of the best horn riffs and slowing it to the pace of a retarded slug draining it of its up-tempo, life-affirming feel and then he ends up talking tunelessly over it by adding his embarrassingly poor "lyrics" (fly / why / sky) which any 6 year old with a rhyming dictionary could have come up with. Oh no I can't stand for this! Curtis Mayfield is one of my favorite artists ever. Move on Up is probably one of my top 25 songs of all time, but Touch the Sky is a Kanye classic and one of his best songs. I love the way he reworked the track. Early Kanye on top of the world. That horn hook is easily of the best of all time and Kanye/Just Blaze do a great job infusing Chicago soul/funk with hip hop. Those drums and split up strings! A pretty good Lupe verse thrown in there as well. This song was hot back in 05-06 and it still is a banger. When I saw Ye at Bonnaroo this past year it was kinda of a disappointment but when he played this it was of the best moments of the weekend. Touch The Sky is one of the best hip hop songs to come out in the last decade. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I gotta defend one of my favorites.

I'd like to change to my vote to this load of drek, touching love song to a Punch and Judy puppet (?!)
.
In terms of a sub category of horrible covers which piss on the legacy of the original it's hard to get worse than Comfortably Numb by Scissors sisters, absolutely dreadful.

Worst song I've ever heard? That's difficult, I'll have to think about it. But this one's definitely the worst I've heard in the latest months. It makes me vomit, literally. Non-existent melody, repugnant lyrics, unbelievably gross video. And it's nearly 6 minutes long...! How can anybody actually like this shit? That woman looks like a fucking blow up doll (wasn't she in that Only Fools & Horses episode!). Repulsive individual.

Oh, but how could you forget this horrendous 3 minutes of your life wasted.
Robbie Williams Rudebox
I am not against Robbie Williams....but this is probably the worst song he ever did. Lucky for him I can see through his ridiculous image and appreciate him as a singer and for his songs. But....he doesn't do himself any saviors by putting out music and "videos" like that.

This is such a bad posting topic. I struggle to find a favorite song or song I like. We all know that Rudebox by Robbie Williams is genius compared to what you truffles posted.

DLBIA cover. fuckin' shit. I actually thought that was alright. I've no idea what they were singing but they got the tune spot on. That was until the chorus came along. What the fuck is that boyband arrow formation all about? And the dance moves? Criminal!

I have to say that was bad. And the guitarist wasn't even playing half the time.

its a long list, but this came first to mind: Ah, this brings back memories. It is undoubtedly one of the worst songs of all time and it's surprising that no one else has mentioned it, but I always found it too funny to completely hate it. The universal panning was very amusing as well.
