I'll stop spamming this thread with photos soon. Twitter is addictive for stuff like this.
And this is good to see - Noel is winning over the kiddies as well

This made me laugh. By the way, the person who said this is a Noel fan because she was at the concert. She's referring to some asshole who decided to rile up the fans.
People are still buzzing about the concert, and the fact that they saw Noel and Johnny together too. Reactions have included awe, disbelief, crying, dancing, and feeling like it was a "religious experience."

That's a great setlist.
I still want to see Digsy's Dinner swapped for Shout It Out Loud.

I think this was taken at the same time as the photo of Noel walking (which I posted on the first page). Looks like he was doing a few autographs in the street.

Hope it's ok to put this in here rather than start a brand new thread.
The Noel gig in Manchester: My Quick Review
Almost all the songs worked well, there was also a great atmosphere in the arena and the crowd all seemed to enjoy all the songs. However, am sorry to say, The Riverman come across as out of place, felt like it lacked a real ooomf in the set. Even the crowd didn't seem to enjoy it either.
The Oasis songs he did went down well, Fade Away was a nice surprise addition to the set, Champagne Supernova was really nice (even if all the crowd sung it like Liam rather than the newer Noel version). Digsy's Dinner went down even better but, if truth be told, sounded a little weird but I dunno why. Don't Look Back In Anger went down as usually well and The Masterplan, which ended the gig was enjoyable. Johnny Marr joined the encore just to do The Ballad Of The Mighty I then went off again.
The songs I felt went down well were: Do The Damage (better live than the recorded version), Lock All The Doors, You Know We Can't Go Back, The Death Of You and Me, Broken Arrow (which was really well done.) Noel's banter throughout the gig about the Manchester United result as it happened was funny. My worst thoughts from the gig was some of the fans surrounding us, they didn't join in ONE bit. Some was even sat down on their phones throughout. This could have ruined the gig for me if I was alone.

Good gig. Probably the most I've enjoyed one of solo shows. The couple next to me looked bored for most of it and left after don't look back in anger. All the new songs sounded great. The balls up with Lock all the Doors was funny and Noel was up for it all night. I thought Riverman was pretty good but I tend to get lost in music without taking much notice of what's going on around so it could have been a lead balloon for everyone else. Only downside was getting covered in piss as the lights came up after Masterplan. In the seated part of an indoor arena? Grow up lad.

In fact, I regret the seating part (only tickets I could get) due to the fact, most of the people around us literally looked like they had been dragged to the gig. NO EXCITEMENT on their faces. No joy whenever Noel said or sung anything. IN FACT, there was a couple right next to us who was talking and just literally stood there while me and my fiancee was jumping up and down + singing along with Noel. I just wanted to grab them and say "HELLO!!!!!! YOUR AT A FUCKING GIG, BE HAPPY!!"

Great to hear all your reviews! There's another good video on YouTube of Ballad of the Mighty I, which was embedded in the NME review of the concert:
