It's crazy how we've asked for IGTBF to be removed and replaced with DTD, and look what has occurred! There aren't many other instances right now where I can pinpoint this claim but I'm sure there will be more!

Well it could be he checked his instagram and saw my comment that he should put DTD as the opener. I really hope its true, lol.

They would be foolish to not regularly keep an eye on the forum, it's the perfect tool to know exactly what fans expect

Of course they read it. I said ditch Dave Sardy. Thankfully he turned Noel down.......BECAUSE he also reads this forum and reads the hate.

They'd be foolish not to read it. It's the most accessible and comprehensive place to gauge audience opinion and stuff like that - I can't imagine them not keeping an eye on here.

A few things would be too big of a coincidence if they wouldn't read it. So I think they do. And probably laugh their asses of at some of the comments too.

I was lucky enough to see the soundcheck in Dublin. He rehearsed Do The Damage (really good live). So I suppose he just needed time to improve it before doing it live.

Play Going Nowhere, with a full orchestra. Go on Noel, my son.

The "uproar" after he played Lord Shine A Light On Me on acoustic and it sounded too thin, what do you know, next evening he was playing it on electric instead

It's certainly an interesting thought having management reading this. But supposing they actually are...
Can you bloody well give us any morsel of information or the smallest of teasers about the Be Here Now remaster? It's frustrating me not having the full set. This whole March/October thing is a load of cow's balls too - if it comes out in May or June, are people really going to think "Shit, I wanted to buy that but it's neither March nor October so it can get fucked." I don't understand at all. Please just a snippet or some sort of Be Here Now era footage to at least tide us over until it's eventually the right sort of weather outside to release it or whatever this system is.
Well, how about that. Let's see if the message gets across.

Play Going Nowhere, with a full orchestra. Go on Noel, my son. He's saving that for a Swing tour next year co-headlining with Rodney Williams Word on the street says he's gonna do a cover of My Way

I'm sure his management reads it.
But since they switched out the opener so quickly, that means DTD was likely already rehearsed and under consideration.

He could. But you'd think he would've done so during rehearsals, not after live debut. He's never changed instrumentation that abruptly.

It would be hard to judge in rehearsals though. It probably sounded great in an empty arena, not so much when there's 10,000 people in it.

I think you guys are reading too much into this. Do the Damage was an obvious choice for an opener, we know why Dave Sardy wasn't involved this time and Noel must have figured out on his own the other things you mention.
The management might read forums every once in a while, but I wouldn't expect they give a lot of credit to what the hardcore lunatics like us have to say.

You should check it out.

I doubt they read it at all to be honest. We hardly make up the balance of the people they are looking for to buy the album. We are the guaranteed sales.
I do think Noel uses multiple accounts to post here though. Deasy, leak4ever and tonethestone1 are my guesses.
