It must be a really bad place where you can't find Noel's album

I couldn't find it at Wal-Mart yesterday. They didn't have any new releases though.

Same here, I love going to independent shops (and some in my city have closed down, which really aggravates me) but having at least one major chain is really nice. There are times when I just want to buy a popular/more mainstream CD that I know the indie stores won't carry. What's your city? Are you hoping to catch one of the gigs this tour? I'm in Edmonton. I saw Noel the last time round, and I'm hoping he comes back. The crowd wasn't the best, but Noel was also very quiet that night (it also doesn't help that it was the middle of a cold winter!) I just got my copy at the local HMV. They had a bunch of the regular CDs and deluxe CDs out front with the new releases.

Proudly displayed at my local indie record shop, both the standard and deluxe as well! They even have a bunch of Oasis singles on CD, including Roll With It, D'You Know What I Mean?, and the Hindu Times! So cool :-)

Edmonton's a nice city, lived there for a few years.

I once talked to a guy at a record sale who was at Oasis's last gig in Edmonton in 2008, and he said the place was rocking. When Noel was there, not so much...but I hope Noel comes back anyway. I'm guessing you're in Winnipeg? Noel hates the cold so I'm sure he doesn't much like our winters.

Indeed. I was also at the DOYS Edmonton gig and it remember it mostly full to capacity, about 10,000 maybe. It was a really good performance, actually one of the best I've seen. Still can't beleive tickets for the gig were so cheap. Can't remember for Edmonton, but in Winnipeg they were either $39.95 or $49.95 depending on your section, which is ridiculously cheap. I think that factored into having such a full crowd of people willing to pay cheaper ticket prices just to hear WW, DLBIA and CS.
