The plot thickens... The latest claims from the less intelligent among the Celtic support are that Steven McLean and Alan Muir engaged in a MASONIC HANDSHAKE before the game.
It looks pretty conclusive to me.

On a non Celtic note, what does everyone make of this archaic heraldry law? Airdrie are already being forced to change their badge and it looks like many other clubs could be at risk.

Meekings has been offered a one match ban. www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=2566&newsCategoryID=1&newsID=14649I'm going to take off my navy tinted glasses for a minute here... This really is unbelievable and shows how weak the SFA are, giving in to Celtic like this. They've effectively denied him a once in a lifetime chance to play in a cup final because a few idiotic Celtic fans have complained. It's not like it was a dangerous challenge or violent conduct so I'm not sure there are any grounds to retrospectively ban him, particularly as this is the first ever case I've heard of where this has happened. I hope Caley win their appeal and that he plays in the final, even though he'll probably go and score the winner now I've said that. Lawell and Doncaster:

^^
That's shocking. Dreadful from the SFA. So that boy could miss out on the Cup Final (possibly once in career opportunity) because Celtic think the worlds out to get them?! Pathetic.

Absolute shambles, the spineless vaginas in charge of our game must go. Hope Caley's appeal is successful but it won't happen, can't upset Celtic anymore, poor wittle wonny. It should be the officials being retrospectively punished, not Meekings. It's hardly like he's done a Suarez WC 2010

The club are contesting it at the moment but I'm not sure how much that will change things. It just seems like an incredibly pointless rule that helps no one.

The SFA really are a joke. Laughing stock, run for the benefit of two clubs and two clubs alone.

SFA - Spineless Fraudulent Arsewipes?
Nobody's surprised though, more or less what we've come to expect from them.

Just wondering - I saw a game four years back at Pittodrie with Craig Brown in charge (Scottish Cup replay against St Mirren, my mate gave me a free ticket) and I thought the football was dreadful from Aberdeen - i.e. knock it long. Seems McInnes has got things rejuvenated again no?

Seems McInnes has got things rejuvenated again no? Craig Brown came in and did what he needed to do, ie steady the ship and stop us from getting relegated. We were in total freefall at the bottom of the league under McGhee and destined for relegation. Brown came in and made us hard to beat, however the price of that was dire defensive football with no flair whatsoever although I am grateful for him signing three of our best players (McGinn, Hayes, Reynolds). McInnes is our best manager of my lifetime (1994-present) by a long, long way. He's a total professional who's turned things around completely at the club, dragging us into the modern age with implementation of sports science etc. He's signed tried and tested SPL players (Rooney, Robson, Flood, McLean) and unearthed a couple of gems as well (Taylor, Logan). We're playing great football but still being very strong defensively. Turned us around from bottom 6 fodder to winning a trophy and putting up a decent challenge for the league in 2 seasons. Basically all hail King Del!

Can't see him going there with all the financial uncertainty and the greedy bastards bleeding the club for every penny they've got. Hopefully he's with us for the long haul and leads us to the treble next season

Hopefully he's with us for the long haul and leads us to the treble next season I'm no sure like. I remember seeing him on something years back when he played for WBA. He had a snooker room in his house painted blue and the walls were covered in hun memorabilia. He'd get sucked in just like the rest of them. The temptation to stick on a pair of brown brogues and walk out at his beloved Ibrox in front of the adoring peepul would be too great to resist for him!

While we're on the subject, two years to the day since McInnes took over. Disappointed it wasn't a public holiday, I'm going to write a letter to the SFA to ask them why not.

I've just realised that the ICT boy that might miss the final is the boy that broke Johnny Russell's leg a couple of years back which meant he missed the semi v Celtic, hope the vagina gets suspended now!!!

Unfortunately not mate, if your there I hope we pump you's haha! Nah, it should be a decent game with yourselves on a high after last week. Keep an eye on Hardie and Walsh for Rangers, decent couple of youngsters.
