Noel Gallagher will release the third single 'Riverman' taken from his new album 'Chasing Yesterday' on February 23rd.

there was a thread a couple of months ago that mentioned Riverman being available Feb 23rd, base on some Amazon release date. People started theorizing it would be the 3rd single. I bet some blog or fansite picked this up and posted it as a fact. That happens when you don't properly cite your sources  |

Noel's obviously very proud of Riverman and so he should be, it's a great song and it's the definitely the best song on the album IMO. It should be a single even if it isn't "radio friendly"

Best song for sure but I doubt it's the best choice for a single.
I'd pick The Dying of the Light.

I thought it should stay on the record, as an opener, but it's a very strong track, probably the best on the record, so it's not much of a suprise.

Not shocked, Noel is and should be satisfied with Riverman. We love it and there are many reasons why. I thought TDOTL would be the next single but its understandable why he chose Riverman. Any thoughts on which tune might be the b side? FT, LMGA or a track we do not know of? |
