From the preview already, I'm not quite sure about Revolution Song. I already notice that they cut out the organ, which was a really cool part of the demo, but the addition of the female backing vocals (Joy Rose, that her name?) is a really cool touch. Will be excited to hear that, and the final version of Freaky Teeth. The latter one sounds badass. Revolution Song has already leaked. There's a thread for it. I'll have to check that out. While I'm not keen on listening to the leaked album, I'll definitely check out leaked B-sides, so thanks! |

For anyone who's stuck, go to the homepage and change your location at the bottom, (Canada works). It'll automatically correct it back to your actual location but will let you undo so if you wish. Then search Noel and voila.
Nice to hear the songs in high quality, even they are only previews... much better!

Probably my fav version of Freaky Teeth so far from the preview, I'm not a huge fan of the song. That ITHOTM remix sounds pretty far out. X2 That remix is the first one I've enjoyed since Falling Down. |

I love it.
It's like a perfect live version with no errors and a perfect mix. Asp the tambourine from the demo but not over the top. Couldn't ask for much more imo.

I've never heard the soundcheck version, just the version he played live. How does this compare? I like it. Have you not heard the version on his demos disc from the DVD? It sounds like a much more polished version of this: Noel's vocals are more forward in the Chasing Yesterday mix and there's more overdubbing and things going on i.e. backing vocals. Frankly, I think it sounds a bit neutered overall, but not awful. It definitely sounds like its from the Sardy era. Really hope that Leave My Guitar Alone is a cracker, b/c while I dont care for The Mexican and would be fine with either Revolution Song (heard in full) or Freaky Teeth (only 1 minute clip heard) replacing it, neither come close to the majority of the actual record. So far, I think the bonus tracks may be best served as bonus tracks/b-sides. Do The Damage could be on in place of The Mexican though. |

Oh come on. It's pretty shit, IMHO. I thought it would have been a rockin' hard song... And WTF the drums? Higher than the guitars? Those chords changing were one of the greatest things of the song. This lady here rocks harder than you Noelio  This is Freaky Teeth. |

I wonder if Sardy mixed the album. Probably yes. I'm a total prick but some songs are mixed pretty bad, IMHO. It's just what I hear. Drums are fuckin* high, if Sardy would have done that I bet some here would have killed him. |

Cracking tune but right a b-side/bonus track, same as Revolution Song, great song but the album is so strong it can't get on.
