Come on, don't be so cynical. It's not every day that we get a new album from Noel, and it was a loooong long time that we got a truly great album. Get on the happy wagon like the rest I do love the album and am well and truly on the happy wagon. It was intended as lighthearted fun more than cynicism. |

It's the best produced and the best sounding Gallagher related record of all time. That's for sure.

Nope. For sure it isn't... Be Here Now is better, more classics. Heathen Chemistry is better, more classics, DBTT is better... more classics. Maybe is better than DOYS. yeah. It is.

Could have been! But Noel's just too arrogant to get guest vocals from his estranged brother on all tracks of his solo album. That shit woulda made this a classic. Oh and the lead single should've been the entire album. Peace out. I'm the biggest Liam apologist of all time and he was my hero for well over a decade. That being said, BE was an album of boss music, but completely ruined by his vocals. At this point, and as much as it pains me to say it, I am embarrassed by his voice; can't imagine how much it must destroy him to know that his once iconic voice is unlistenable. Will never forget how much his voice, presence, charisma, style, attitude, etc shaped my life though. Thanks for all the memories, Liam. But please, don't further diminish your legacy by releasing another album that proves all the detractors correct. With all the love imaginable, I thank you for the good times. Roll on Pretty Green and a book deal or two. -B. Manley |
