Yeah, all cds have promos and since DBTT there haven't been any (decent) leaks... Uh DOYS was leaked from a promo CD, the OasisCollectors guy leaked it. Yeah I remember that - very exciting but I played it to death and ruined the listening experience by time I bought the physical copy. It didn't help when I probably subconsciously thought the album was shit, but I was young and denying that fact! Since then I don't think anything has leaked. Or certainly I can't remember.

I can't leak. Sorry. Ignition/label sent an ecard to the press for reviews today. Like NME did. But the album is great and ecletic. IMO, "The Right Stuff" is mental and one of his best songs yet!! Good stuff Alisson - it would be best for this forum to keep having a quality source rather than you burn your bridges with the record company for the sake of an album we are all eventually going to hear anyway. Any idea when you'll have your review up?

As a press release, you have to do your job. Waiting for the review...

With some many promo copies now out there I wonder if a hero will emerge. Watermarks be damned!!!!!! Probably noone. Technically speaking, it's very easy to remove the DRM protections, but if a professional news person does that, IT's a major crime. So, we have to wait other ways, otherwise will be no press reviews anymore.

DGSS was leaked as one long audio file recorded from a promo stream IIRC. So anything's possible

Okay guys so I've heard the whole album. It's completely mega and sounds great I'm so madferrit still Noel is a Godlike genius and he can never write a bad song cause he's brilliant! Riverman sounds great cause Noel is a godlike genius of course, DOTL is freaking brilliant what a godlike genius gosh, Lock all The Doors is from his pure godlike psyche during Oasis and he still has it cause he's a friggin genius. And everything else is sooo good praise our lord and savior Noel Gallagher oh my gawd what a godlike genius! "Godlike genius strikes again we should rename ourselves Noel Music and Entertainment!" - NME

I'm curious, which Canadian station is playing ITHOTM 2-3 times a day? I've never heard NG on a Canadian radio station, but I'd listen to a station that plays him. I live in London, Ontario. FM 96 is the station. This week every time I get into the car, bang! Noel Gallagher ITHOTM lol Interesting. I live in New Brunswick. Haven't ever heard Noel solo on any local stations, just Wonderwall, DLBIA and sometimes Champagne Supernova. And interestingly The Roller made their top 50 songs of the year in 2011 (but they didn't play any HFB).

Ya the stations in Toronto only played the Roller for two weeks and If I Had a Gun for two weeks out of anything BE/NGHFB related. Pretty pathetic considering we like Oasis here and they play Oasis once or twice a day. Ashamed really especially with all the crap they play.

Nice work Alisson! Very excited to hear X-Ray Eyes, Lock All The Doors, The Right Stuff and You Know We Can't Go Back. Hotel California on X-Ray Eyes? Oh boy, I hope it's like the Gypsy Kings version. I'm glad Noel finally is sounding..............modern.

This is always one of the most exciting times. Right before the album is released, before preview clips and all we have to rely on is a few insider reviews here and there. Anything is possible right now and there is no disappointment.

Anyone got another link or can copy and paste the review? Link is down! Thanks RIVERMAN (10/10) if there’s something Noel has never failed is chosing the first track on every record he’s appeared. The song was built based on an obscure 70′s song called ”Pinball”, by Brian Protheroe. The song starts with a whisper like ”Broken Arrow” but the build up is rich and by 2 minutes mark, there’s a sprawling and uplifting guitar solo. It seems like a starting over after sax appears after the solo. First showing of experimentalism came on final minute, with acoustic guitar and sax. ”I shout it out your name behind the rainbow’s end/All of the love is left behind is gone” IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT (7/10) You heard that. It’s out of the context. ”Do The damage” could replace it, but has its value. THE GIRL WITH X-RAY EYES (10/10) Certainly Noel was trying to take the piss on the first 10 seconds which emulates ”The Masterplan”. But the similaries ends here. Classic pop ballad and one of the highlights of the album, the lyrics shows how to fell in love with a girl through his vices and not his virtues. ”In the end, we marry them”, as told us Noel. Don’t tell anyone but there are hints of ”Hotel California” in some moments. ”The girl with x ray eyes she’s gonna see me through my disguise/There’s no one to be seen, no one left here in my screen” LOCK ALL THE DOORS (8.5/10) Due to the fact it has been written before DM, this is the most Oasis song that an ex-Oasis member has recorded. With elements of demo appearing on final version, specially the chorus, the track reminds me of the best moments of ”Be Here now”, with the famous wall of guitars. Sped up, it will work live DYING OF THE LIGHT (9.5/10) The bulk of the song is intact based on the soundtrack version we know. The final version got a band arrangement and could easily made the final cut on last Oasis album. Like the prior track, ”Dying of the light” is a nostalgic song which aims more the past than the future. It’s one of the most inspired ballads Noel has written and fill the place IIHAG took on HFB 1. Without doubt, it will be a stand out on live shows THE RIGHT STUFF (10/10) In the heat of the excitement, I must say it should be one of the tracks Pink Floyd would give a hand to record on a possible reunion that will never happen. It’s one of the most ”far out” tracks Noel has ever recorded. The instrumental intro is nearly 1 minute and hall. Lyrics are short and repeat the line ”You and I got the right stuff” several times. The vocals sounds far awar and guitar solos are endless. Space jazz at last with echoes of early Verve. This song was the biggest surpris for me and it made my personal TOP 3. And attention: sax again. ”Out of the blue I heard an angel sang/You and I got the right stuff” WHILE THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME (8.5) Even though there’s a line from this song which nominated the album, this one of the most modern sounding on album. With a ethereal intro, it has a pop vibe and a outro with more edge. It’s pure Manchester. ”Find me a place with sunshine through rain/ Cos I’m tired of being a stranger and miles from home” THE MEXICAN (9/10) One of the most complex on the album. Full of elements and sound tricks. It starts with a groove beat, marching drums and suddenly appears a riff which sounds like QOTSA, turns into Stones and ends like T-rex. It’s the song that oozes album’s concept: eclectic. YOU KNOW WE CAN’T GO BACK (8/10) Do you know that american movies with a guy driving a big car with his babe beside him and the wind touching his hair? This is the mood. A highway song to hear at full volume while driving. Bruce Springsteen would dig it BALLAD OF THE MIGHTY I (9/10) Johnny is legend. Credits goes to AlissonBrazil
