Before the leak, I imagined in my head that "Girl With X-Ray Eyes" would sound like Bowie's "Black Country Rock". Not sure it's really like that in reality.

You know the funny thing? For all the talk about how much of a departure for Noel the album is, to me this sounds like the songwriter we said goodbye to in 1995. You can hear the evolution and maturity, but the songs come from the same source that gave us The Masterplan. It's like they've kept the guy frozen somewhere for 20 years.

He's grown out of the shite in Oasis. NGHFB was the birth and this is taking it to new levels. I mean, fuck me, we were being served shite like A Bell Will Ring and Little James,it stunted creative his talent.
