He's a rare case of someone who just naturally sounds like Liam, i don't hear a lot of mimicking his technique at all. Besides, we all love Liam's voice, I'm all up for hearing more singers like that! It doesn't sound forced at all, there's no nasality/whineyness that you often get with impersonators. From the video's i've seen of them live he's got Liam's 1994 stage persona down to a T, which is a good thing imo. Liam doesn't act like that anymore, no one else does and it looks natural from what i can see. He's more than talented enough to pull it off so good for him I say. New album is wicked as well! I wish there was one or two more energetic Lay Down/Feels Like 37 type songs on there but otherwise it's a winner! I'm pretty sure Warsaw, Tape Deck Sick and Dawning will stay on my favourites playlist forever. It has to be said, this is also a fucking fantastic set of melodies as well. Seeing them in a 200 person venue where you can often mix with the band in two weeks. From what I've seen online they look like the closest you can get to seeing early oasis live. I'm literally counting down the minutes, cannot. fucking. wait! tbh sounds more like alex turner to me than liam

Sounds alright Health's intro reminded me of Half The World Away btw! It was that "1,2,3" counting and then acoustic guitar playing the same chord as HTWA Off topic I know. But song that's reminded me most of HTWA is Fire in My Heart by Miles Kane. It's like a hybrid with She's Electric.

I haven't listened to the new album yet but I was just watching this
I was thinking he doesn't sound much like Liam to me..Then my Dh over hears from across the room and says"what's that, sounds like Liam" Lol So yes I guess early Liam but hardly an impression I get more of a Stone roses (or Charlatans) vibe from them than Oasis. I'd like to see them live, they look fun

Listening to their new album as I type and I quite like it. Some songs really reminds me The Verve in Urban Hymns era.

Haven't heard many people or reviews say much about this tune yet
It didn't stand out to me on first listen, but fuck me, this one's an absolute classic in the making, that vocal as well, just brilliant!

that clip is from 3 years ago man. So? So...they look and sound more like kids then. They're older now- and sound like a more mature band to me- not that i'm some expert on the DMA's career- live or otherwise. I just don't think that clip is representative of who they are now- so to judge them that way and say as someone did that they make them gag based on something recorded 3 years ago is somewhat misleading. sometimes i laugh when i see early, unpolished Oasis too.

That video made me cringe. Doesn’t matter what they sound/look like now. I’m talking about that video specifically. I happen to think them in 2017 still make me cringe. Am I wrong?

I like both albums but I was really underwhelmed by them live. It might have been because it was a festival though and only mid-afternoon. I thought lay down would be a banger but it seemed poor live.
Can Liam not sort them out with some pretty green gear either? They look like a load of spice heads with there baseball caps and trackies.

Kind of a band that need the whole crowd with them.

Listening to their debut album for the first time. The lead singer sounds like the guy from The Enemy.

Seeing them at neighborhood weekender this weekend so hopefully the crowd are decent.

Just bought their two albums on CD two weeks ago. They are amazing! My favourite albums since As You Were.
Don't really approve of the fact that they look like Eminem, though...
