The Mighty I (the song) was the lowest point of Noel's career before Council Skies songs.

Trying to be an 80s rock stars is never a good idea. Usually when artists from Noel's generation lacks ideas, they copy the era, who knows why. Probably coz it's easier to hide shit songs behind an 80s production.
