Gave it a good 10 listens or so last night and have come to an early conclusion that it's a very strong song, just beneath what I would call Noel's very best work. The chorus argument is irrelevant to me as I can give or take DLBIA style epics, I also don't agree that it's a poor arrangement dressed up with lush production values.

My favourite parts of the song are the intro and first verse, Marr's lovely little section with the strings just before the break down and the outro. Personally I feel as though the build up and last 'chorus' could have been changed or even taken out completely, I'm not sure the song warrants a 3rd dose of 'I'll Find You' but I'm probably just nit-picking there.

Agreed with the comparisons to WAL, AOTR and FD, all songs that I enjoy immensely so it was pretty much a given I would rate this one. 8/10.
