Was it this one Noely made a pointed effort to highlight as "one of the best he's written" in the first few interviews for Chasing Yesterday? He said the same thing about Magic Pie and Force Of Nature so we're in for a treat...

He said the same thing about Magic Pie and Force Of Nature so we're in for a treat... Yeah, he doesn't have a bloody clue about his own tunes most of the time (hence Lets All Make Believe, The Masterplan, Underneath The Sky, Alone On A Rope and so many more not making their respective albums), but at least with Magic Pie, there is at its core a pretty good tune in there somewhere. It's just incredibly overblown. But Force Of Nature, I didn't even know he'd said... That is truly astounding

I know Liam was going through his growly phase during HC. But his delivery of that song is awful and makes it sound so much worse than it actually is! It's very rare for Liam to actually worsen a song by singing it but PAITM is definitely one of those times. He did that a few times around HC/DBTT imo (mostly B-sides), not every song needed to be rasped à la Go Let It Out. That should have been sung by Noel, a bit faster and a B SIDE! I reckon we'd all rate it if that was the case. On topic though a few people have talked up The Mighty I instead of just Noel this time so at the very least I don't think it's another FON/STC

Tbh I have only listened to it twice and can't actually remember anything about it other than Liam's voice sounding like crap.

I really like Mucky fingers, it's not up there with the greats but I think it's above average for the post 2000 tunes

I know, and following on from a mediocre version of pretty mediocre 90s Oasis b-sides as well, to OPEN his gigs

Everybody's On The Run was the perfect album and set opener. Would have been epic Riverman sounds like it'll be a good opener this time round. Hopefully Noel feels like we've got the subtle message behind opening with It's Good To Be Free now and bins it.

I'm not even a fan of the song but Everybody's On The Run made a far better opener the odd occasion he opened with that instead, and I'd be shocked if there wasn't something on the new record that could kick a gig off in style. And of course, there's a whole host of Oasis tunes to pick from, it's really inexcusable to have that as a mainstay in his set next year

Beady Eye are dead so no need to really have It's Good To Be Free any longer.
He should open with Waiting For The Rapture.

Just checked those links for the three amazon listings, they all say March 3rd 2015 now No, they don't. Just look at the box on right side of your screen. If your using a mobile or tablet you might have to scroll out. Anyway, I can't really make sense of this release strategy. I just hope we get a new, unknown b-side with Mighty I. As gdforever pointed out, Revolution Song is probably no contendor - if it indeed will only be available from February 16th and the a-side is already available in January. But why they decided to promote a song from the bonus disc is beyond me. Freaky Teeth and Leave My Guitar Alone (wonder how that one sounds) are however still in the game. In general, what does prevent Noel from putting TWO extra songs on a single. In the same vein as The Smiths. We know he's got enough material up his sleeve to release three albums tomorrow.

I think Do the damage could be a great opener, but since Riverman got it's place on the album I think the latter would be a better guess for opener of the tour.
