it seems like ITHOTM had a big push / proper release to radio stations in the u.s in the last week. I've seen lots of stations saying the new noel gallagher track in the last week. with reference to IIHAG it seemed like it was going to come out in the u.s prior to the u.k release, i can remember asking Jessica to buy it when was announced in the u.s / available to by before it was in the u.k Aye you are spot on about If I Had a Gun mate. The U.S. got it first and we got The Death of You and Me. If I Had a Gun was given its premiere on KROQ I think around the same time period as The Death of You and Me. I remember ripping the audio from Soundcloud.

I'm so desperate for anything CY related that I've been re-listening to the Steve Lamacq interview all week.

The 13th cannot come soon enough, now that we pretty much know we won't be getting any preview or airplay before that.

Haha love the excitement on here. Reading it reminds me of my oasis anticipation excitement days.
Unfortunately I don't get that with NGHFB.
I must admit I did with Beady Eye (but less than oasis obviously)
Still looking forward to it though.

We don't even know it is coming out on the 13th. All that is based off is an Amazon listing, which could be totally wrong. We are dealing with a lot of unknowns at this point. Might not be released for a while (even though the official Facebook page said early January.)

It'll be another BHN situation if we dont get it by the 13th!

Worse case scenario is we have to wait until 2nd March 2015 which in the Noel/Liam/Oasis scheme of things with regards to waiting time is not that bad really.
Sometimes the anticipation outweighs the finished product and after the album is viral it's a gapping 2/3/4 years of non activity to look forward to, maybe we should not wish this state of flux away???

BOTMI will be good, but the avant-Garde tracks are what I really wanna hear - His first real experimentation in 15 years? Called The Right Stuff? Oh yeah.

I want to hear EVERYTHING. I'm excited for the stranger more avant garde songs, but also to see what he has done with the songs we already sort of know. And the new songs. I haven't been this excited for an album since my teenybopper years

He's not really been added to the playlists of any alt rock stations. Maybe that changes once the ad board update comes around. But as of now, he's only been added to about three triple A radio stations. Though, what was encouraging was hearing ITHOTM during the NFL playoffs last week. Will be interested if they use it this upcoming week too.

HFP is just an obsessed Noel Fan (like all of us) who also happens to be an attention whore and wants to get recognition in the forum. He claims to have inside information but never got one right, and if you say anything bad about anything related to Noel (like his management) he acts like the fanboy he truly is. Webby is much more trustworthy, as Alisson and Hasseg. These guys should be taken seriously. tbf to HFP Alisson also posted that it would be Wednesday. And he did post his primary source on this occasion, albeit I think only after he was asked?, so we could all weigh the likelihood of it being a track debuted today. It is sometimes frustrating with certain users being vague about their sources and sometimes being right sometimes wrong. When they are right that proclaim it proof of insider connections and when they are wrong they simply say nothing.

To me hearing The Mighty I will be very important moment. I'll be honest, at first i was a bit dissapointed by HFB album, expected more. Now i think it's a solid record, but still i think it's far from Noel's best. I have high expectations again for CY and i really feel it will be a different and a better one.
In The Heat Of The Moment i believe was the new album's Shakermaker and i still think Noel will suprise us with the rest of the songs. It's an ok song, but let's be honest. We're all waiting here for some cracking track coming out next week. If this will be another ala what a life poppy okayish song then i'm dissapointed by Noel's solo career. But i'm sure it's gonna be brilliant. It's just the way the things are gonna be. It's the way he always managed to suprise us in the last 20 or how much it is years.

Shit, New York City doesn't even have an alternative rock stations anymore. Just a single classic rock station that has played the same 25 songs since 1988.

He didn't confirmed anything, he just let people more excited with the news. Let's be honest, the song can be revealed at any moment, and with this long wait the majority of the fans doesn't remember what are going to be the 2nd single, even when this is going to be released.

We all saw what he found and his online sources and he didn't claim insider knowledge this time. What we need is some new music. lol

He never said i found on twitter that blah blah but the only thing he did was to post cryptic messages or post them as a fact. Only in his last message said maybe, so that he is covered. This is the definition of attention whore.

So... two weeks have passed since they posted on Facebook a pic from the video, saying to "look out for it in early January". It's been "early January" for a few days already: we know that time is relative and that Noel's management team probably does live in a world where gravity modifies the passage of time, but still...
early January: Jan 1st - Jan 10th mid January: Jan 11th - Jan 20th late January: Jan 20th - Jan 31st
(yeah, my engineer side is showing again...)
It's really time to release that damn song, isn't it? Come on...!

I could have claimed inside info when I found the tweet about ITHOTM before it was even announced but I quoted the source, just like I did for promo cds of Ballad being sent out and the xfm times (which was wrong because unfortunately i dont understand japanese) Ive just tried joining in on the fun of speculating on this release, maybe I should have just resorted to slagging of coldplay and saying the leak is imminet like everyone else.

Can we not turn this thread into an argument?
If people are upset with HFP, then send him a PM or invite him out for a drink to talk things over instead of hijacking a public thread to the annoyance of the average user.
Personally I think rumors, fake rumors and snippets of info are great fun, and if people take rumors too seriously its their own fault.
