Haha, it looks like Noel just said something clever and insulting which shocked the guy in the back and pissed off the director.
In reality he's probably just yawning and they're all chatting.

It seems like it will be a mix of storyline and typical band playing video like Lyla or Stand by Me. Hopefully it won't be like Stand By Me. I've always hated that video... I've always hated Lyla myself... The Gallagher's are two of the coolest cats in the music business (or they were then, anyway, as returning rock gods, back from the desolation of their early noughties output) but even they just looked badly out of place in that vid. The director was obviously a hipster art school-type if he thought it was a cool idea to have Oasis play at a circus. Totally missed the point of the band

It looks like the director's trying to convey the "message" of the video to Noel and he's just bored out of his tree, probably grumbling a choice swearword or two under his breath

Strange seeing Noel with a Strat. Pretty sure I've read him hassling people who play them before. Looks cool enough to me though.

The only time I saw an Stratocaster was with Gem at Barrowlands 2001.

If I remember correctly, Noel used a Stratocaster during the recording sessions of SOTSOG. Probably davidjay can confirm or deny (I'm quite sure I read that on his website!)

In an interview for Guitar One magazine, Noel explained that on Giants he used "a Fender Strat and a ’60s Telecaster that Johnny Depp bought me for my 30th birthday. And I just bought this really cool, wine-red ’80s Les Paul Deluxe. But it wasn’t so much the guitars that changed the sound of the album – it was the amps. For example, I’d never used a Fender amp on any of my records. It was always Marshalls, Marshalls, and more Marshalls."
And in another interview (given around the same time to a magazine I've yet to trace) he added that one of his main guitars for Standing on the Shoulder of Giants was a 1964 Gibson ES-355.
They also used a Tokai Stratocaster on Fuckin in the Bushes.
