Have you really got nothing better to do? Nothing better than listening to Andy Bells songs naked, in the shower, while posting in the forum Okay, you do that.

I tried to write the lyrics, but as a non-english born it's pretty difficult for the last part of song.
Can anyone help me?

Sounds pretty bloody good. Great to hear some loud guitars again and some nice backing vocals.

I love it. Much better than ITHOTM. Very pleased with this. Nice one, Noel.

Just heard the full song. AWESOME.
So apparently this was meant to be the opening track on the album but Riverman was a better song.

Not as good as Andy Bell´s Nature of Reality I'm asking you with my heart on my hands: please, stop it

Finally listened to it for the first time: it is good, very good!
It's too short, though.

Think I'm the only one who doesn't like this? Doesn't sound very inspired.

This album promotion is gonna be like none weve seen from noel before..no real leaks and releasing songs etc as close to release dates as possible which states hes after this one doing the business ,he clearly knows hes got a pearl of an album lined up and going by what weve heard so far its gonna be his best batch of songs in years.The only way oasis will comeback is if they let the chief pen all the songs, hes clearly back on top form.roll on march and paris

Just read a post on NME;
"Do The Damage? It might be the 23rd best song I ever wrote. It was - for about a year - gonna be the opening track on the album until the 22nd best song I ever wrote appeared"

Think I'm the only one who doesn't like this? Doesn't sound very inspired. It's good for a b-side but nothing extraordinary. Imo In The Heat of The Moment is better. It sounds like Full On after the first minute with the drumming pattern and keyboard thing.

Listen to the 30 second previews didn't do this justice cool song would have worked great as a opener but "Riverman" is the one I'm most excited to hear on the album & is probably one of "the more left field" songs he mentioned so I'm excited for this album.
As for "do the damage" I like it. Harks back a bit to "full on" & "Hindu times" era Noel a bit. Also it does remind me a tad of "go with the flow" by Queens of the Stone Age too as I read someone else mention. That line about dreams being gone or whatever makes me think of it a bit of a "adult life" version of "fade away". Really like it.

It sounds like Full On after the first minute with the drumming pattern and keyboard thing. Good sound, bland melody i agree. This one is up there with the rest of the rock acts today. They cant write memorable tunes. Let's hope Noel does best on the proper record. So Far, one of his worst release if you combine the two songs It's more about the feeling than the songwriting i suppose on this record.

Sounds really good, strong B-side. Reminds me of HC for some reason.
