So what does everyone think and want the new setlist to be like?
You'd expect hes going to play around 6-8 songs off the new album so which songs from the previous sets will make way for these? Will he cut down on the oasis songs he plays (could it be time for none at all and a set of purely NGHBs songs). Or will he will it cut into the tracks songs from the first album he played etc?
Few things worth thinking about.
Songs I'd like to remain in the set from the first album songs:
The Good Rebel Dream On If I Had A Gun I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine The Death Of You And Me

no way is he going to cut off all oasis songs. we're probably going to get the usual suspects - wonderwall (AGAIN ) , dlbia, the acoustic supersonic (AGAIN ) .... and probably the singles from the first hfb's album. along with all the new stuff. that's my best guess.

I think he's going to play 3-4 Oasis songs, the singles from HFB plus a couple of album tracks/b-sides and the songs from CY

He started playing different Oasis b-sides, one at a time, changing every now and then, the last time. I hope he keeps that up - still plenty of interesting songs they never played live.

Shout It Out Loud and Underneath The Sky would be great. Shout It Out Loud as well. B sides from Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants are gold for me. Idler's Dream, Revolution Song which we know that is already in there. Sometimes i think that Noel should've go solo after SOTSOG with these songs.

Does anyone think Falling Down would work acoustically? Could be interesting. I'd like to hear The Masterplan back in it though.
Songs from the first album? I thought Everybody's on the Run was the best live tune from that album - crowd really got behind it when I saw him.

Noel said in an 2009 BBC acoustic session/interview (can't remember the date, Fade Away was performed as well) that a stripped down version of Falling Down "wouldn't do the song justice", hence he never played it that way. I still would love hear an acoustic version, it would be the first Noel song NOT to work in an acoustic arrangement.

I do love playing Falling Down on my acoustic guitar, the chords are simple but I love the arrangement and sound of it. One of Noel's finest in my books.

I think Falling Down could work! I'd love to hear him and Mike Rowe try it at least.

Mind you, he did play Supersonic after announcing at the start of the tour songs from Oasis that wouldn't really work with him singing it - but after finding an acoustic arrangment, played it live and it was one of the highlights from his shows. Never say never, who knows, he may just wheel it out. Fingers crossed!

I don't really care about the setlist, as long as he plays Slide Away. Come on Noel...!
