I'd also like to add One Direction to that list. Midnight Memories was one hell of a pop album last year, and this new album is shaping up to be really good! I'm taking my best friend who's sick to their concert in MD next August! (She doesn't know that yet though )

I see Madonna on here. I guess old pop stars I say Paula Abdul still looks good? No Nelly Furtado? For me Dido. She's a little older than most.

Queen B is number one right now without questions. Outstanding performer, controls pop culture, and she makes surprising forward thinking music. She's been better than her husband Jay Z for a while now.
Taylor Swift isn't too far behind but she's experiencing some growing pains with her music. 1989 is in my opinion by far her worst album. Gave it a couple spins yesterday for the hell of it. Bar: Style, Wildest Dreams, and Shake It Off it see's her moving toward the monogenre of modern day pop. It is disappointing for a music standpoint. She's She had her own sound that she needed to move on from eventually but now she's ripping off Lorde and Katy Perry. Dr. Luke must be a happy guy with all the bank he is making. From a personality standpoint it is fun step forward in her evolution but the music is over cooked. Red was a much better pop album than this one.
Dido is great. Her first two album are legitimately engaging adult pop music. Can't think off the early 00's without her.

Beyonce with shake that butt so she is a tart Madonna is there cause she was hot , never thought nelly f was either hot or good. But hey if she's on yours Rain thsts cool , no wrong answers here man !

I'm serious to you guys when I tell you to check out Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox album. That is QUALITY pop music and for me the greatest pop album I've ever heard. I'm serious, it's THAT good. Bruno is the king of Pop to me rn Agreed. Bruno went way up in my estimations when i read something about him liking Arctic Monkeys. As you say he makes good music too. Not something I'd go out and buy like but can't help but admire him. Did you know he used to do Elvis impersonations as a kid too, really young as well, like 5 or 6 years old. Impressive. As for pop tarts, got to be Katy Perry for me. My daughter absolutley loves a couple of her songs so she gets my vote. Got a soft spot for Miley too TBH.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande I think Gwen Steffani looks odd now. She's way too old to try and pull off the skater girl look now. Grande is a good looking girl but it's strange seeing her sexualized now after her being on my daughter's tv shows.

Madonna was a trail-blazer in the 80's and early 90's - the rest on that original post by kalas - all utter garbage for me.

True, she's past her prime. But when she's not trying to be her No Doubt ska-punk self and gets dolled up she looks great. Awesome ab's for her age. Wish she'd do her hair brown again. In the" Cool" music video she looks great. Agree than she needs to be more of a women now that she's a mom and nearing 50. I didn't even know who Grande was until this year. She's ight, thinking about it now I might replace her with Rihanna but I wouldn't touch her with a 10 foot stick. Probably has more than a few STDS and wouldn't be surprised to find some dusts of coke somewhere on that body.

Nothing wrong with a bit of mindless pop now and then, but 90-95% of the singers named in this thread provide the worst kind of music the world has to endure right now
