I tried to love Noels High flying birds as much as I love Beady Eyes work on parts from DGSS and on the whole BE. I really like Noels song, but Beady Eye really put out a great record with BE. their songs felt magical and familiar, but not boring. I really hope that they make another one, because it was a long time that something grabbed me and shook my that wild like "Flick of the finger" or, that something gave me the feelings of being in the darkest corner of the town, like "soul love" or something gave me wings, like "Start anew". please Beady Eye, come back and don't think too much about, the songs you do and write with your heart. BE felt heartwritten for me and that was great!

Agree with S.F.U. Even thought with BDI the songs are a bit hit or miss... I was excited more before BE than HFB. With HFB u know exactly what are u gonna get...a decent set of brilliant songs for middle age ppl with a few gems. But with BDI I got more the "Oasisish mad for it" feeling....I guess it should be called Liam factor

Sure Beady Eye had some nice tunes but I got very little Oasis vibes from them (perhaps the exception being I'm Just Saying). On the whole it's in Noel's solo effort that I sense Oasis. His songs come from the same place Oasis songs came from because Oasis songs are his songs.

Noel started writing songs as a kid. Liam didn't until he was in his 30's. Is it a mystery why Noel has supreme power?

In five years, Liam will be speedily recovering from his liver transplant surgery.

I know we all have different opinions on Liam/Noel, but personally I never thought Liam brought much to Oasis since Be Here Now. His voice turned to shi* and his songs stink. Beady Eye will most likely fade away and Noel has no incentive to reform Oasis. Now what does Liam do? I bet you anything he does something in the vein of "Oasis featuring Liam Gallagher" and plays the hits to small crowds of 1500 or so. Liam seems like the kind of guy who will do anything to grasp onto any kind of fame. What do you guys think? Another reminder of the size of the turnaround we've seen over the last few months!

It was right at that point that every forum member witnessed a ridiculous thread take a turn for the better.
It was one of those 'I remember where I was when it happened' moments - like when Rod Hull fell to his death trying to adjust his aerial to get the United match.
What a day.

BE felt heartwritten for me and that was great! Probably the best BDI comment ever. Songs that came from the heart. Exactly the opposite of Liam's new singles. Lets hope the bulk of Liam's tunes on As You Were will be good enough so that we can make a "real" Liam Gallagher record by removing those products. And keep the songs that come from the heart.
