Is there an opening act for the US tour? I've hard a rumor that it's Snow Patrol. I hope I'm wrong. You are. That started b/c stupid Ticketmaster still has old shit up from when they did open for Noel. Not all the gigs are "An Evening With" though apparently, so I would imagine that a few of them will have an opener.

It's an evening with NGHFB. No support as of now. More dates to be added shortly. Don't ask me when as I don't know specifics. Can't say too much more but sit tight if you are in Philly/NJ/NYC. As of this afternoon, Gov's Ball is not the only NYC area date that is being worked on. It's simply the only one confirmed as of now. Good shit. I'm too old for music festivals.

Fuck that. Really no further north than SF? You've got fans up in Seattle/Vancouver, Noel......... ROAD TRIP! I've already done that in the past. And unfortunately I'll more than likely be missing out on this tour a. because I'm not travelling to San Diego/San Fran/LA/Las Vegas for one show b. already am going to Mexico in June I hope he's gonna do another tour later in the year. One that INCLUDES maybe a Seattle or Portland date. Sucks, but dems the breaks (this go around) Oh hey! 1,000 posts! Only took me 7 years! haha

I'm assuming Noel's album is expected to be successful if this many U.S. dates have been announced already...weren't only like 5 U.S. dates done intially for HFB1?
Thanks.

I'm assuming Noel's album is expected to be successful if this many U.S. dates have been announced already...weren't only like 5 U.S. dates done intially for HFB1? Thanks. There were 6 cities, but they had planned for extra dates at some of the venues. IE Toronto, NYC, and LA all had second shows added after the on sale, so the amount of different places he visited on the first leg was initially low, but he added second shows in a few places. He came back and played a lot more different places in 2012. And no. These dates bear nothing in respect to album sale expectations. Almost all of these he played on the North American tour last time on one of the legs. Ticket sales from those gigs would influence this itinerary far more than any indication or expectation of album sales. His US sales are a drop in the bucket overall, hes playing here because he knows he can sell tickets in particular markets. I don't really see a lot of room for him adding dates on this leg. I don't think he stays in the US after Boston. A couple more east coast dates (NYC, Philly) after Toronto, and a couple more west after Vegas would be nice.

He's missing quite a few markets this go around. If there are dates added to this itinerary, they will be few. There's just not a lot of room outside of the windows after Toronto and Vegas. He has very few back to back nights probably by design, so if you figure a day off in between each date, he can probably add another 4 between those windows i.e. (as a guess) headline NYC show, Philly, Phoenix, and Minneapolis.

Yeah, see ya in Chicago everyone. The Riv is a sweet venue as well. Need to get some chicago/Midwest live4ever members. It was nice seeing you last time. Absolutely my man. I coach high school soccer and if my team gets a first round bye in the playoffs I can go. If we play like shit, I won't be there. More incentive to kick ass this season.

No Seattle, Philly, Montreal, proper NY gig, etc. Seems like another fall leg to fill in the gaps is very likely. I'll hold out on driving all the way to Toronto from Ottawa on this one. Worst case scenario, there's no Montreal gig in the next leg and I'll have to drive to Toronto or NY. I'm more comfortable knowing I didn't waste money.

I can't figure out what the Cleveland gig is going to cost me.
" Ticket Prices: $42.50 - Advance GA standing room only $45.00 - Day of Show GA standing room only $75.00 - Balcony reserved seating"
So if I'm going for the general admission so that I can get right up close to the stage, it's going to cost me $42.50 -- less than the seats that are farther away?

Still hoping for him to eventually make it to Minneapolis-St. Paul or Winnipeg! Me too. I expected this because of the DOYS and HFB stops. Seeing as there is no Seattle at all, and they always play Seattle, I'm confident a second leg is coming up, maybe in August. But I'm still not sure if we'll get the distinct pleasure of seeing our Noel in Winnipeg again. I'm going to be holding out then, waiting. If there's no second leg, then I won't get to see him perform at all. The dates, the times, the travel expense, it all just won't work this time.

Either that, or more dates announced, but I think the second leg is more likely, since that's what happened in the last go around. From what you said, you're about right, and that'd be the logical guess. I think the second leg would probably consist of a nice run in some border cities, Canadian cites, and various US cities (Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Montreal, Detroit all come to mind). I hope he doesn't leave us hanging, and I don't think he will. Even though he's said that he doesn't wanna tour as much as he did with the HFB Tour, I think there'll be some motivation from management to go to certain places, and will come around here. Just gotta wait for announcements (and time to pass).

Yes. Quite a few venues that have a balcony but open floors do it like this. Its $42.50 for the GA floor. Its $75 for seats. Pretty common that the seats cost more at least in my experience with these sort of venues.

You're lucky over there, he's not famous but he still comes there when it costs a lot of money and energy, playing 14 gigs in 30 days for 28k people. In the UK he needs 1.5 show, 2 hours of work to have that capacity and, probably, money! ($40 = £26.40) Don't moan, you have more gigs than UK + Europe right now!

I just want decent seating concert tickets to not break the bank. I'm lucky I didn't go to college this semester. I feel like I'm going to be at least $10 short even because of fees.
