Why are DC tickets General Admission only? The theatre has seats? Seems like someone botched this page set-up. Errors all over the place. Even on ticketfly it's one price. Looks like it's GA

DC is a GA show, I tweeted at the Lincoln yesterday and they said that. I still can't buy tickets yet because they're in everybody's carts

Why is it General Admission? First come first serve for seating?

I got DC tickets. Yep, GA in a theater which doesn't make any sense. But, not without precedent, Lincoln Theatre has done GA before.
Will call doesn't bother me. That's how I got to Royal Albert Hall one year.

I'm just going to wait until Friday. This is too confusing and it's Will Call only.

The Toronto date was open at least 8 minutes before scheduled. I happened to grab 2 tickets (Orchestra Right, DD), Was hoping for center but these should be fine.

GA is the way the Lincoln does most of their shows. It's a total clusterfuck and a pain in the ass. Most people that get stuck with seats upstairs end up downstairs in the aisles and it's not the best experience. I like the Lincoln but have skipped shows I wanted to see because of the GA policy.
I had no luck with the DC and Boston pre-sales. Ugh.

Meh, I'm just going to wait until Friday since its GA. Noel's website seems f*cked.

I have faith there will be NYC or Philly shows. Tim Smith replied to me on Twitter yesterday saying US Tour is 6 weeks. That would put them leaving the US on 14th. That leaves a whole week of nothing after the festival in NYC for shows in NYC, Philly and Atlanta.

Then what, we all wait in a line with tickets and run in when the doors open???

DC tickets (and looked like Boston for that matter) didn't actually go on sale until almost :03 or :04 after the hour. Got 2 tickets, had a second browser cause I wasn't sure about the GA thing, tried to put in 2 more almost immediately and they were already sold out. If tickets were available for any more than a few seconds, I didn't see it on my end.

That really sucked the Toronto date going on sale early. I was online at 0955 and the tickets were gone by then. At least there are a couple more presales tomorrow.

Wow, Noel is more popular than I thought. Bizarre. I keep refreshing the page, and when tickets do become available, only 1 is available, but it says it is out of stock anyways. WTF?

I don't usually get there for doors, but my understanding is that doors will open around 5pm or so (depending on the show time and soundcheck overruns) and people just line up prior to that. There's also lots of seat saving going on once people get inside. Fun times!

That leaves a whole week of nothing after the festival in NYC for shows in NYC, Philly and Atlanta. Noel may not be allowed to play NYC and Philly shows because of Governors Ball. Festivals generally have limitations that keep acts from playing any area shows for a month or two before and after the festival. Philly might fall within the blackout distance. Same for Atlanta. He's playing Shakey Knees in May. But that's entirely conjecture. I have no inside info.
