The Mexican sounds like a name Kurt Cobain would use. He did have a song called "Mexican Seafood". There is a song in 'Noel's Notebook' called 'Mexico', so it's not that far a stretch to imagine him calling a track 'The Mexican'. also Teotihuacan was named because of his love of mexico

I'm actually off on holiday to Mexico very soon, here's to hoping that 'The Mexican' might surface while I'm there. If it even exists that is lol

"The Mexican" sounds like a country song...maybe he's going western?

I read yesterday on some Tumblr this tracklist for the first single, but I can't find it right now.
The Right Stuff (03:16) Tomorrow Won't Be Over (04:02)
I won't believe it though. Most news on Tumblr are bullshit.

Isn't webbys cat a good detective? If this info is legit then the album can't be that far away! I think noel will announce at the XFM night to be honest! He's been radio silent for a little while and it seems like a perfect time to tell the world that he is back!

I call bullshit. That track is only 3:16? Way too short to be a Noel track, tssssk.
Just kidding. Haven't checked Tumblr for a while, maybe I should..hmm..

Revolution Song, seriously?!? Every fuckin time Agreed. It's failed to make 5 albums for a reason. How and why it hasn't been released as a b-side yet, god only knows.

For some reason I don't even think he's coming out with an album haha, I know I'm wrong but something feels off Man do I hope you're wrong after three years and the loads of speculation lately I'm pretty hyped for more music from Noel. I remember how well he hid HFB before the announcement, I think we only knew about that when he officially told us...so he could be announcing it any day now.

What if Noel, Paul Weller and Damon Albarn have created a mind blowing album together? Hi, I'm new.

Well, there it is. Lock All The Doors being on there genuinely bends my head, I thought this was proof that this list was nonsense.

Everything about this tracklist screamed bullshit.
Revolution Song has been on every fake tracklist since SOTSOG, The Mexican sounds bloody ridiculous, While The Song Remains The Same is a Led Zeppelin song and Lock All The Doors is over 20 years old!
It just seemed like some part time fan had cobbled it together based on songs he'd heard on YouTube and then added a few of his own creations.

I agree on The Mexican being a ridiculous title. I'm actually quite curious what it sounds like. I hope it doesn't actually sound fiesta-ish.

I want to know if any of these songs were originally attended to be on the AA album. I remember Noel saying that some of the AA songs would see the light of day in a more traditional form. I'm busting for some decent interviews that discuss the music.

I think The Mexican might have Mexican Standoff by Elbow feel to it. A little latin flair, but still just rock.
