Doesn't ANYONE on this forum know people in Noel's camp? Can't we reach out to them and tell them it's not 1993, and tell them we'll wait for the BHN reissue, we want Chasing Yesterday TODAY!

Maybe they're now going to an early January release to capitalise on the January sales. But I still don't know what the hell they were playing at - as soon as Noel's album was completed (ahead of schedule as we now know), the Oasis reissues should have been immediately postponed. A late-2015 date for Morning Glory made more sense anyway to tie in with the 20th anniversary, with Knebworth in 2016 and Be Here Now in 2017. I don't know what the rush was to get them all out in 2014. Noel's album being on hold for 9 months is just plain daft. The only thing that I can think of is that Noel was looking out for Liam and his financial issues at the moment. Give him a few quid to keep him ticking over and all that

As much as I'm looking forward to Chasing Yesterday - I'm 100% sure it's going to be a great record, perhaps not Morning Glory great but I'm not expecting a disappointment, unlike with Beady Eye - I want this Be Here Now reissue now!
New NG material is one thing, but unreleased songs from the Oasis era I cherish the most, is something different. I'd prefer Be Here Now outtakes over new Noel songs anytime, sorry to say so.
Anyway, I just re-read the early official Chasing The Sun press announcements from February and they clearly said "Definitely Maybe in May...Morning Glory to follow THIS year, blabla". No word of Be Here Now. So apparently it was planned for 2015 from the start. However, the announcement should be just around the corner, right? The fearful thought that it might have been cancelled is really bothering me.

I asked Brian Cannon on Facebook if he knows when Be Here Now is to be released. Doubt he answers, the fucker. God bless.

The fearful thought that it might have been cancelled is really bothering me. Likewise. This is the one we've been waiting for the most, they can't drop the ball now!

When was the last time Noel finished recording an album quickly!?

Pretty sure the press release said all three would come this year. Hitler said he wasn't going to invade Poland.

Yeah, I've read it numerous myself across all media. First three albums to be rereleased. Like I said, the campaign must be called Chasing The Sun 1993- 1997 for a reason. So I just had another quick look through the news section on the official site (http://www.oasisinet.com/#!/news) and actually there's not a single mention of a Be Here Now reissue to be found (EDIT: Sorry. Wrong. I'm blind). It's strange. Here's the news update I was originally referring to: OASIS: CHASING THE SUN 25th Feb 2014
‘Definitely Maybe’, the band’s debut album, will be released on the 19th May, with ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ to follow later in the year.

However, I do find it strange Oasis would reissue it at all or include it in their "glory" years. It's generally seen as the end of their peak and helped to destroy the Brit Pop movement forever (not my opinion). I mean does the world really need a Be Here Now reissue? I know this forum does but not general rock fans.

"To celebrate the twentieth year since the release of their debut album, Oasis will be re-releasing their first three studio albums over the course of 2014. " Be Here Now will be released this year, let's just be patient. If not, it will be in January.

I know this forum does but not general rock fans. Does the world need a reissue of DM and MG? No, it does not. The general rock fan you are talkng of does need the regular album only. The regular rock fan does need any demos, live tracks or background information on the songs, nice liner notes etc. Only fans like us do need that kind of stuff. And fans like us DO NEED the reissue of BHN. ...more than a reissue of any other Oasis album!

He's constantly going on about "those two" reissues in the recent interviews and how the reissue of Morning Glory has to stop selling (which it obviously already has for a few weeks) before "his office" could start the promotion work for Chasing Yesterday. Frankly, he doesn't seem to care much about those reissues and he's in charge and will have the last word on everything.

I NEED THE MUSTIQUE DEMOS.
Desperately. I will be MASSIVELY disappointed if we're not getting them.
