I too remember that interview. Noel was asked about a potential anthology and/or BBC session style album. He said something like that had been discussed and that Oasis had one unreleased song left that he sings, not Liam. No mention of this since late August, September of 2011. We shall see. I hope it's "Slow". It's either that or "The Red White and Blue"...did everyone forget about that song? No. We have not. I recently named dropped it over in the NFL section. Bring it on down Noel!

Yeah it's bullshit we've all been buzzing for this one all year and now it's up in the air, it'll be gutting if this doesn't see the light of day

Has anyone not bought either of the reissues? I haven't but I am definitely getting Be Here Now. With or without the demos.

If the management would at least give us some slight hope by posting Be Here Now related pictures on social media, just for example. I keep checking the official Instagram, Twitter, younameit almost on a daily basis and they're still on Morning Glory mode. I've already revealed my paranoia corcerning a potential canceling of the Be Here Now reissue in this thread, but they're really testing my nerves.
It's obvious that it won't be coming in 2014, but time is getting short and it's gonna a close call if they're planning to release it in between "Mighty I" (mid-January, I suppose) and the album.
Couldn't just somebody from this forum, with a twitter account, tweet or mail or whatever anyone who's involved and must know more, please? Brian Cannon perhaps? Did he do artwork for the BHN reissue at all? Or Liam? I don't know, once this announcement is out I'll be fine.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing us that a Be Here Now reissue exists.

No, it was actually when Liam told the world Different Gear, Still Speeding was better than Definitely Maybe.

Wouldn't that song be Come On Outside? Could be could be. That song was barely an Oasis tune though. Kinda snuck in at the end of their run. I'm hoping its "Slow" but it probably won't be. Could be Sing (if the song's worth singing) , from Heathen Chemistry era, however, which obviously wouldn't make it to the Be Here Now reissue. Also, considering Noel's contempt for BHN, I don't really think he would have had a song from that era on his mind in 2011, when he mentioned the unreleased track.

I'm also pretty sure he was talking about C'Mon It's Alright/Come On Outside. The only great, lost (Noel-written) Oasis song. Right now, I'm having trouble believing that 'Slow' ever really existed.

i feel like I've said this a thousand times but early in the HFB cycle noel said he signed of on a new oasis song for a new oasis release (but its him singing and not liam so suppose doesnt count) ... Either there was a different rerelease prior to chasing the sun series or as the last release to come out we will get a brand new song.. I too remember that interview. Noel was asked about a potential anthology and/or BBC session style album. He said something like that had been discussed and that Oasis had one unreleased song left that he sings, not Liam. No mention of this since late August, September of 2011. We shall see. I hope it's "Slow". But why do you hope it's slow, over anything else? What is so special about 'slow'? You have never heard it before

I'm waiting it long long time. like BHN songs. I like that analogy. And in the end there's someone walking dowb a corridor (an employee of Ignition) and closing the door abruptly (meaning that the reissue has been canceled). If they really had a heart for what Oasis fans are longing for, they'd announce the release tomorrow (in desperate hope that this person called "Claire", who's apparently, among others, working on and responsible for the reissue campaign, is reading this).

So Own Morris just made it up all those years ago? Plus Noel was asked about it during a Q&A about 10 years ago. It exists. The question is will we ever hear it either via an Oasis style anthology or Noel solo effort.

All that has been said or written about Slow, from Noel himself, Owen and especially Nick Brine is very contradictory. Noel famously said he'd totally run out of song ideas after BHN (I assume he wasn't considering Lock All The Doors at this point ), so shouldn't it have been a contendor for SOTSOG then, or any album that followed? I guess it could have been retitled as well.

Noel has mentioned plenty of songs that have never seen the light of day........ - The Red, White and Blue - Slow - Gotta Get It Back - Revival - The Magic Can't Be Right - Don't Be Down

imagine if Slow ended up being Sunday Morning Call I doubt it is because Noel was asked about it during the HC-DBTT years during a fan Q&A. Said it is still on the back burner.

That's why I'm hoping for reissues of the post-2000 albums as well. Sometime in the future...anyway, I still think The Red, White & Blue was an early title for what became I Hope, I Think, I Know. And you forgot "Everyone's A Winner", which is very likely just a nonsense title. Or a Hot Chocolate rip off.
