The other thread seems to be missing.
Less than one week till college football kicks off. Back to being a delusional Miami Hurricanes fan. They have a good chance of winning their division in the ACC but FSU is still the team to beat nationally. It'll be interesting how Alabama responds this year with out AJ

at least you'll have cool uniforms since Miami went the way of Oregon as far as wearing colorful uniforms. can't live in Ohio, central Ohio especially without being very aware of Ohio St., although i'm not the typical fan who thinks they're the best team every year, then only to get killed in their Bowl game, normally. and now that Ohio st. lost their best player they'll probably be about .500. most of my attention is focused on the NFL, but the four team playoff should be interesting this season. God bless.

I hate Ohio State. They refs stole back to back National Champions from Miami.
It's an Urban Myer team so the still will do well plus their division isnt strong.
The playoffs should be interesting. Hopefully there isnt any controversy with the 4 teams selected.

Hopefully there isnt any controversy with the 4 teams selected. Ohio State were lucky to win quite a few games that year - not all on bad calls like that, though, close games that could've gone either way. i didn't expect them to win that game either but i was happy with the end result. that was one of the overall best games i've ever watched. that game, USC and Texas Championship game from 2006 with Vince Young and Matt Leinart/Reggie Bush, and the Ohio State and Michigan game from 2006, where they ranked 1 and 2 and the game was so close they almost played again for the National Championship. this year Ohio State were suppose to be heavily reliant on Braxton Miller; their back up quarterback has never played. last year their defense was unusually bad, that's normally Ohio State's strength, hopefully that's improved or they're in for a long season. i'm sure there'll be some controversy about the 4 team playoff, hopefully that means a good college season, though. God bless.

The University of North Carolina confirmed to Yahoo Sports on Tuesday that it is investigating a training camp incident between football players that escalated from what multiple sources described as an alleged hazing into a group assault of a teammate.
"We are aware of an incident involving members of the UNC football team that took place earlier this month. We take this allegation seriously and the University is conducting a thorough review," Kevin Best, North Carolina's assistant athletic director for communications, said in a statement to Yahoo Sports.
Members of the team and coaching staff were not made available for comment Tuesday because of the ongoing nature of the investigation, Best said.
During the first week of August, redshirt freshman walk-on wide receiver Jackson Boyer was involved in an alleged physical altercation with multiple teammates in his room at the Aloft hotel in Chapel Hill where the team was staying during fall camp, sources told Yahoo Sports. The incident allegedly left Boyer with a concussion, sources said.
When reached for comment last week by Yahoo Sports, Rob Boyer, Jackson's Boyer's father, acknowledged that an incident occurred with his son but said, "I'm really not ready to comment on it."
According to the UNC Office of the Dean of Students, the school has a clearly defined policy on hazing: "The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is committed to fostering organizations that provide a positive and safe environment for new and existing members. To that end, UNC expressly prohibits hazing or any activity that puts a student's physical, emotional or psychological health and safety at risk. The Instrument of Student Judicial Governance defines hazing as action, 'that causes or permits an individual, with or without consent, to engage in activities that subject that individual or others to risks of physical injury, mental distress, or personal indignities of a highly offensive nature, in connection with recruitment, initiation, or continued membership in a society, fraternity or sorority, club, or similar organized group, whether or not recognized by the University.' "
There has been no public indication of team discipline for the as-yet unnamed players involved in the incident. The Tar Heels, coming off a 7-6 season in 2013 and entering their third year under Larry Fedora, open the 2014 campaign Saturday at home against Liberty. North Carolina was banned from postseason play in Fedora's first year, 2012, due to NCAA violations committed under previous coach Butch Davis, and remains on probation. The NCAA recently said it has reopened its investigation of the school for alleged academic irregularities involving both football and basketball players and dating back many years.

Yea a great finish to the game, UCF were wank till they changed their quarterback at HT and some big throws both ends made the game. Big kick to win it with 3 seconds left. Really enjoyable day

No real surprises this week. FSU'S defense does not look very good this year. I won't be surprised if they lose a game or two.

I believe its gonna be on the 2001 team, Arguably the greatest collection of players on one team. 17 1st rd draft picks. Overall, 38 members of the team would be selected in the NFL Draft. As of 2013, they had earned 43 trips to the Pro Bowl: Ed Reed (9), Andre Johnson (7), Frank Gore (5), Vince Wilfork (5), Jeremy Shockey (4), Jonathan Vilma (3), Willis McGahee (2), Chris Myers (2), Clinton Portis (2), Antrel Rolle (2), Sean Taylor (2), Bryant McKinnie (1), and Kellen Winslow II (1).

I need not remind you who Miami lost to in the championship game that year. I'm only joking, as I've said, that Ohio St. team were lucky as fuck that whole season. I watched a replay of that game not too long on ESPN Classic or the B1G TEN Network and distinctly noticed the number of pro players on the field. ----------- some high ranked teams getting beat today and Oregon the other day....as this rate Ohio St. will play their way back in to the four team playoff. God bless.

Watching them getting run all over by GT and the fucking annoying option right now. *They didnt lose. The game was stolen.
