Went and saw Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden on Monday. My 7th time seeing them and their 10th time performing and selling out MSG. They came out gunning and further reminding me that few bands rock as hard as they do. Sure their albums are not amazing anymore but they've never lost that gold touch when performing live to sold out are arenas around the globe. You're always gonna get a 3+ hour show, 30+ songs, anything from their catalogue and cool random covers. A great fucking time. I recommend it to all. SetCorduroy Mind Your Manners Once Animal Given To Fly Surrender (with Cheap Trick) Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town Nothingman Leatherman Better Man Garden Even Flow Sirens Deep Jeremy Leash Do The Evolution Encore 1You've Got To Hide Your Love Away (acoustic) All Or None (acoustic band) Pendulum Present Tense Breath State Of Love And Trust Porch Encore 2Last Kiss Driven To Tears (with Sting) Sonic Reducer Alive Baba O'Riley Yellow Ledbetter

sometimes they seems like the US version of oasis!!! both bands were huge in the mid 90s, with 3 great albums and then a set of good albums Pearl jam clearly win in lyrics n live setlists oasis clearly win in melodies n in my heart
Pearl Jam had the balls n maturity to continue, still a great band, making albums (see also R.E.M.), something that Oasis should do, without worrying about the same success they had in the 90s. its about music after all...

I was a big big fan of their albums in the 90s. Their albums no longer hit with the same fierce punch but I'd never miss them going on tour. Mega insane live act. Makes Oasis look like a high school band. Makes you realize just how lazy Oasis was with set lists and mixing it up live. Another great thing about Pearl Jam is the core 4 members have been the same since 1991. They had a Spinal Tap thing going on with the drummers but now Matt Cameron has been in the band for almost 20 years. And Eddie, like Bono, Yorke, Stipe and Ashcroft, his voice is the same today as it was 25 years ago.

Eddie and the boys won't play all the hits! They already played plenty from Ten like Alive, Evenflow, Jeremy, Porch and Garden. Awesome stuff.
