It would be great if Liam formed another band or teamed with other musicians for a one-off EP or something as Damon Albarn does. Not leaving Beady Eye but as a side project while the band get their shit together. And the same thing for Gem/Andy/Chris, they should try something else so they can get into a studio together after that with a new perspective. Andy should just get Ride back together....that was one hell of a band with maybe the greatest drummer of my lifetime. |

get Tony, Bonehead, and Guigs back and reform THE RAIN! woo! i really dig Beady Eye....but i think Gem is a really boring musician. I think Andy Bell and Sharrock are both pretty damn good....but ditch Gem and get Bonehead back in there! (sorry Gem :/) Beady Eye have so much potential.....i really enjoy BOTH albums quite a bit....but there's just not enough emotion there. What! Andy is boring. SOOOO BORING. Probably the most boring musician (person)in the world. |

I was just thinking how Liam might feel right now after the (let's face it) disaster that BDI has been, in a way. I really can't see Liam feeling so well or self-confident anymore. And that guts me. I wouldn't like Liam to become one of those bitter old rockstars (he isn't one yet, is he?).
I think Liam should stay quiet for 2 - 3 years. Have Gem and Andy work with other people (Gem should tour with Noel and Andy should reform RIDE). Then Liam should join/form a supergroup in 2016 or something. Make one record and that's it.

Every thread is the same most people said beady eye are great live, some people say the are amazing, some people say rubbish, some people moan about Liam's voice (from their YT viewing), some people moan about them doing 2 oasis songs, some people moan there's no backing vox (again from YT viewings) on those 2 oasis songs. Some people think beady eye are an insult to music. For me personally after a lot of gallagher gigs beady eye definitely are up there vs any other related gig. Beady eye are unfortunate cos the weight of their past has crushed their future. Hopefully they can just do their thing and enjoy it moving forward tho. |

...I think his best move at the moment would be to release an album of his best songs... Why bother doing that? His fans already have those tracks and the general public wouldn't buy it anyway. Complete waste of time. |

Beady Eye should take the 42.42 remix and also remix the rest of their songs (from both their albums) and b-sides in that style. Release the mixes as a deluxe double CD packaged with a live DVD from this current tour.

i really don't think BDi should release an album next year, as voted for by the thread's poll....if anything, to just not compete with Noel's album, but I love the bravado and passion around here....it reminds me of myself before the war.

He should release a track-by-track cover album of John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band. Then, his first solo album would also be Lennon's first solo album, fans could rediscover how great that record is and Liam and could work on the songs instead of finding ways to integrate the sounds into other tunes.

I would be up for another album next year, i'll probably always listen to their music. I enjoyed both their albums and in my eyes theyre both a success. Some albums recorded by 'bigger bands' dont even have 1 track which I can listen to. Beady Eye's songs are almost all on my phone.

I have actually never been to a Beady Eye concert simply because they have never come to my country. If they ever do, I will certainly be there and enjoy it to the maximum. I wasn't talking about their quality as a band or Liam's stage presence. Altough they have some really shitty songs, some have blown me away and listen to every day. I'm sure Liam's has the swagger he has always had on stafge. That's not what I mean. The band is as good as any other "new" rock n' roll band. I was more or less referring to the series of things that have happened with BDI which have not been so good for them (i.e. album sales and reception, Gem's accidents, terrible management, etc.) |
