I didn't think too highly of this song until I saw the Empress Ballroom footage of it - I'm obsessed with that now, the guitar sounds so much better than on the album. I thoroughly recommend you give it another watch.
Anyway it got me thinking, when was the last time it was played live? I'm fairly certain it hasn't been on the BE tour so would it have just been the DGSS shows?

Its not for me tbh and I haven't listened to it for a very long time. Could be my least favourite BE song.

I like it, sunny, funny, simple song.
Such a shame that they're stopped playing Kill For A Dream and Three Ring Circus.

I like it, sunny, funny, simple song. See I'm assuming it was written in the Oasis days but can't imagine it fitting into any of their albums.

I would love them experimenting!

Whether that be experimenting or not, I don't really care. At this point, anything they release keeps them active after a dodgy album cycle.

a little gold gem, a song that could fit perfect in DBTT. In the good old days it could even be a good oasis single. simple and short, melodic, with beautiful lyrics and singing by Liam.

The melody is nice, and its a type of song I'd usually like, but why the fuck did they get Mickey Mouse in to sing it???

The last time I saw Beady Eye perform "For Anyone" it was not pretty. Sounded like someone stabbing a frog to death.

Liam is the only vocalist in the world which has different voice every year.

I don't think Beady Eye ever pulled it off live.
I was hoping for a acoustic version played on one of Beady Eye's acoustic gigs back in 2013.

This is the best performace of For Anyone that i've seen, and it was also before they dropped it down a key. The reverb on the vocals I imagine is masking the nasal recording, but other than that he's perfectly in tune.

It is staggering. I wish it wasn't the case. How many other bands' fans have to debate their singers voice on every given night. Very rare.

This makes me wonder if we will ever hear Songbird live again since it was written about and/or for Nicole

Something about For Anyone just doesn't do it for me. It feels like the song is incomplete. Like he had an idea and then just made that one idea the song. It's too much like a jingle you'd see on a commercial. I suppose it's musically beautiful and even lyrically, but it just seems incomplete, I often skip it. And then you have the high key it's sung in which does not complement Liam's lack of range anymore.

Is there anyway Liam can sing in tune, without being nasal like in his early years?
