Watch and listen to Electric Picnic on RTÉElectric Picnic kicks off tonight in Co Laois and if you couldn't get your hands on a precious ticket you can still enjoy the best of Saturday's line-up on RTÉ Two, RTÉ 2fm and RTÉ online. Saturday night is Electric Picnic night on RTÉ Two, with dedicated coverage from 8.00pm right through to midnight. Eoghan McDermott and RTÉ 2fm’s Jenny Greene will bring you performances from the main stage, interviews and more, while Al Porter and Blathnaid Treacy will be reporting from the Picnic arena, bringing the latest news and festival happenings. Saturday's top acts on the main stage include Scottish singer Paolo Nutini (due on at 8.45pm) and making a rare live appearance, Bristol trip-hoppers Portishead (10.35pm). RTÉ Two will also be at the Other Voices Electric Ireland stage for some of the musical highlights from an eclectic line-up of national and international artists. 2fm presenters are already setting-up camp in Stradbally to bring listeners the latest music, news and gossip, beginning this evening (Friday) at 4.30pm with a special edition of Colm Hayes' Drive-by. The coverage continues at 8.00pm with Jenny Greene Live from the Red Bull Music Academy Stage, with a line-up including Waterford's Republik DJs. Saturday's coverage begins at noon with Picnic Republic, and continues throughout the day up until Cormac Battle at 7.00pm.
