The tour is over...life's been good to us... 05-06 brought us DBTT, a sold out MSG gig, an intimate Houston gig, a good tour by our boys, completed without incident (major) might I add. What now? Well for starters...I'm excited about this new DVD about recording/promoting/touring/ DBTT, maybe a best of too. We'll be alright until, you know...until a Polish radio station play the new tune from our boys ahead of schedule...we'll have countless 05-06 tour bootlegs to enjoy over our long hot summer. What about you all?

Well hopefully that DVD will be full of footage. I would also love another Live recording especially when they played HC stuff on this tour.
A double live cd like FTM along with the DVD would be awesome.
I don't need a b-side album (since I have them all)......and seriously not Oasis greatest either.

i think the one thing we can be assured of is lord dont slow me down. i think the window of opportunity for a stand alone single seems to have passed, so i dont think we'll be hearing anythign new until the next album. and i know there was talk about the b sides collection, but nothing has been heard for a while now so it seems to have gone on the back burner. and i know they'll take a long break but i dont think we'll have to wait too long - liam has made it clear he wants to get back into the studio, they've got a few songs written already, have decided they want to work with sardy (so probably won't have to scrap recordings which slowed down the process with dbtt) so maybe end of next year?
is the sony contract is up now? does anyone know who they have signed with? for how many albums? and im kind of confused bout how all that stuff works - if sony owns the rights to the songs and can release a greatest hits despite the bands wishes, but noel decides when the songs can be used in ads?? can someone explain this whole song rights to me?

Yep. I'm waiting for the DVD. I loved the little trailer on the 'Let there be love' DVD. Especially the bits of Hampden cos I WAS THERE and I remember it so well. It was as mad as it looked. I couldn't quite make us out - but we were on Noel's side near that smoke thingy that went off right at the beginning (but nearer the front)
And yes I'm waiting for the next tour. I made it to Hampden, Newcastle and Aberdeen. I'm aiming for a few more next time!

The more time passes, the more Noel may just say "fuck it".
