I assume this post is a joke?? I personally like TUTS and think TIOBI is great (Noel trying something new for first time in 5 years), but certain people may not like them, fair enough. But to say that DLBIA "just kinda lays there with no real melody" ?!?!?!?!?! Sean, you've cracked!! Fucking hell!! Hehe. Yes of course it was a joke. Got ya! Thank Christ! You had me worried there!

shit man i must be on my own thinking little james is class, simple lyrics...but it works! Well the vibe and the sound of the song is good. The lyrics however are quite appalling.

Going Nowhere is a TOP song....the vocals and lyrics are quality, esp for a bside
Sister Lover isnt THAT bad either...not my fav bside, but def not Oasis's worst song

(You've Got) The Heart Of A Star is class. Wish some of the new ones were that good; maybe it's because Noel is letting everyone else contribute the B-sides to his A's.
Also I reckon A Bell Will Ring is one of the top three songs on the new album; after TIOBI and GGTIA. It's a good mood song, that one.

Just looked at my song ratings, and these come on the bottom side:
Album tracks: Hey Now! (never got into it) Magic Pie (I honestly can't really stand it) PYMWYMI (I always wondered how it made the album, while Let's All Make Believe became only a B-side. I Can See A Liar gets lots of mentions in this thread, but I actually like it) A Quick Peep (as someone said, waste of a track) The Swamp SOng (OK, as a live opener, decent. But putting 5 mins or so of pure noise into TMP...eh...never liked it)

i haven't really heard all of the b-sides . . . but i'd have to go with I Can See a Liar or The Meaning of Soul. And of course Little James is in the top.
- cheers !

my least favourite oasis single would be all around the world, but it's okay.
i can't say i dislike any oasis song really.
there is something really nice about little james which makes me like it, even if some of the lyrics are poor.

Won't Let You Down, IMO.
Other contenders...
Little James I Can See a Liar Force of Nature
Other than that, I can't think of too many outright *bad* Oasis songs. But there are plenty of Oasis songs that are just sorta "meh".

there has been so much debate (on this forum especially) about Be Here Now, I think youve just summed it up in 4 words - One Big Loud Mess. perfect! ;D ;D I'll second that. I think 'Little James' is universally considered a low point because of the lyrics, but the music is OK - I don't hate listening to it or anything. I love that there are people who are really into it though. I can't stand the title track 'Be Here Now' - reminds me of 'wash the dishes, dry the dishes, turn the dishes over...' for some reason. I always skip it. Then there's a couple of b-sides I don't really like, such as '..Cigs in Hell' and 'Just getting Older'. I think 'It's Better People' is absolutely awful, but I absolutely love it. What I mean is, I know the lyrics are terrible (the song is essentially meaningless), and I live in shame in the knowledge of how much I love it, but it gives me such a high! I think it's worth acknowledging that you can know a song is shit but still like it, and you can know a song is technically decent but not like it all that much. There's a difference between songs you happen not to like, and inherently shit songs. ....I also second the comment someone made about 'Round Are Way' having to be OK because it contains the word 'minging' - cool!

"i can see a liar sitting by the fire" is noels most lazy lyric (bar of course "the fool on the hill and i feel fine"!).
