Each time I listen to his cover of "There is a light that never goes out" by The Smiths I'm anew blown away. Come on, Noel. If you think you do a good cover of Hand In Glove (4:24) as well , share it with us! Would be epic

Noel solo ? Might sound odd but with piano intro and gritty coming of age lyrics. " backstreets " Bruce

I'd like him to cover either of these two Neil Young songs:
- Everbody Knows This Is Nowhere - Tell Me Why

I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. Fits his voice perfectly
Waterloo Sunset by the Kinks
40 Day Dream by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zero (Which I really do think it would be brilliant with Noel)

Ah...this isn't a cover, but please,I want an acoustic version of Champagne Supernova This. He heard the fan enough to play Angel Child, Idler's Dream, and D'You Wanna Be A Spaceman. Maybe he'd do it.

"For Absent Friends" by Genesis, "This Is Where I Came In" by the Bee Gees (maybe with Damon and Chris Martin on harmonies), and for some reason I'd love to hear him sing Elvis' "Suspicious Minds."

David Bowie- The Jean Genie. Noel's a big fan of Bowie, it's a great tune and if he played it full band it could add a bit of energy to his set The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want Paul Weller - Wild Wood The Beatles - Revolution. I'd usually think more McCartney, maybe Harrison for Noel but he did a great version of All You Need Is Love. It's a great sing-a-long as well, it went down a real storm when Paul Gallagher played it to finish off his DJ set

This isn't exactly covers, but I'd love to see Noel do an album a la what Santana did with Supernatural.... an album of collaborations with known artists like Damon, Macca, Martin, etc. His great songwriting being paired with other great front men or musicians would be awesome. He is highly regarded by tons of artist and I think he could get together with a host of great talent in the same vein as Dave Grohl's (loves Noel too.) Soundcity recordings.

He played Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before with Chris Martin once, although he didn't sing...that would be epic to hear. Anything by the Smiths really Hell yeah.

Stereophonics- Maybe Tomorrow
If Oasis got back together, I'd love to hear them do a cover of The Rolling Stones- it's Only Rock 'n' Roll. I could Imagine Liam going all out, and Noel's backing vocals like "IIIIIIIIIIIII knowwwww..... But I like it, like it, like it, yes I do!"

That would be a terrific song to play on acoustic guitar since it began that way anyways. Unleash it Noel!

Noel solo ? Might sound odd but with piano intro and gritty coming of age lyrics. " backstreets " Bruce Too many words for Noel. For You is more his style but again a little wordy for Noel

He NEEDS to release his cover of Dylan's Don't Think Twice, It's Alright. He played it at a soundcheck my friend and I won a radio contest to get into... Not afraid to admit it nearly moved me to tears!
I'd also like to hear him cover of Macca's Maybe I'm Amazed, I think he could do a great version of that!

I would love him to do something unexpected, perhaps keep away from the British stuff.
I know for a fact that Noel is a big fan of this U2 song. He would do a great version of this song.
