Heard The Roller playing in the grocery store yesterday while I was shopping. Had my earphones in, but heard Liam's un-mistakeable sneer ever so slightly through my other music playing, ripped my headphones off, and sure enough, The Roller was playing through the store speakers. This was in Chicago, by the way, not even in England. Never thought I'd hear that.

Two years ago, my mum came back from shopping (clothes, in France) and she was really excited : (mum) - Nadia ! Nadia ! I have heard Liam's voice on a store. The song was marvellous !!! (me) - Hummmm ?  Are you sure ? (mum) - Let me listen to some Liam's songs, I'll try to recognize it !!! Hurry Up ! (me) - Ok....  So I put "Times Flies" and DGSS, and she immediatly recognised "The Beat Goes On". Since then, she considers this song as "the best in the world". I even bought her the vinyl  Now she listens carefully to all Oasis, Beady Eye and NGHFB cds and she wants to come to a gig.  |

I don't think I have to be honest, only Second Bite on the Top Gear commercial and some advert for an American show called Heart of Dixie I think. Of course, For Anyone was used as the intro to some terrible, short-lived sitcom over here as well, but I've never heard anything Beady Eye in any shop or anything, just the odd Oasis tune.

I'm from the U.S.A. too - I was shopping at a grocery store in New Hampshire and heard "The Roller." Maybe it was from the same mix tape? |

The fact that The Roller was played a lot in 2011 on the regional radio station here in Southern Sweden. I never heard them play ANY Oasis song before, except Wonderwall a couple of times.
And when I entered a bar last summer and Four Letter Word was being played. Turned out the bartender/DJ was one of us.

Slightly off-topic (sorry), because it's an Oasis tune, but I watched a documentary about heroin addicts and there suddenly started "Stay young", I was a bit surprised But if I remember correctly, it was the intro or something, so no lyrics. |

That shit-awful Will Mellor 'comedy' on BBC1, think yourself lucky if you don't know what I'm on about. The theme tune was 'For Anyone'. Cheap rip-off of 'Friends' like all sitcoms are nowadays.

The more obvious place to hear Beady Eye would be while queuing up before one of their gigs, it was pleasing to hear a bunch of lads singing The Roller. That was a nice way to begin the evening.

Bonefish Grill in East Brunswich, New Jersey and Reisterstown, Maryland. I've heard this chain restaurant play The Roller, Millionaire and The Beat Goes On. I've also heard them play The Death of You and Me and Dream On. Very cool.

Bonefish grill must have it on a loop Lennon2217 yesterday at the avenues there is a bonefish grill under construction almost done management there and all and "millionaire " was being piped through the speakers that's definatly strangest for me |
