Absolutely, sorry gang but let's be real for a second, there's no way in hell Liam would've pulled off Everybody's On The Run. Maybe in 95 but not now. i actually meant Liam would sound good on Everybody's On The Run, and especially Record Machine..... Liam would have to have a very rested voice for Everybody's On The Run but with a little studio trickery it would sound fucking awesome. the rest of the songs would have to have lower keys and those songs just wouldn't be the same, and he still wouldn't be able to hold the notes... God bless. Yeah I got that but it had been bugging me for a while because people in this thread kept posting that Liam should've sung Everybody's On The Run. I love Noel singing that song and also Liam wouldn't be able to pull it of in 2013 at least. Just saw your post and I went off on a mini-rant because of that.

God bless.

Now I love how good Liam's been sounding recently but even if he somehow pulled it off in the studio doing the song live would've not been his cup of tea.

All I can picture in my mind is all the awesome Noel Gallagher songs left on the sideline for LAG songs to fill the quota. I really enjoy all the great music we've gotten between these two projects over the last 4 years. Keep it coming boys.

God bless.

Noel these days has a power in his voice that Liam doesn't have anymore and I can't imagine Liam doing those tone changes that Noel does on different words.

Evebody's on the run with Liam on vocals and without this fucking echo could have been one of Oasis best song ever.
I'm so sad this will never happened.
IIAG and RM could have been great too.To me even if Noel is doing a good job on them, they're half finished without Liam, it's better than a demo but so not as epic as it could have been.

God bless.

Four Letter Word Flick of the Finger Freaky Teeth The Roller The Death of You and Me (Noel) Everybody's on the Run (Noel) Record Machine If I Had a Gun (Noel) Broken Arrow (Noel) What a Life (Noel)
70/30 split on the songwriting duties and 50/50 on the vocal duties.

Arent we cheating a bit by using both Beady Eye albums to compile the song list...sort of like saying, think of the amazing album we would of had if we put dbtt and doys together...but anyway

1 Flick of the Finger 2 Everybody's on the Run 3 I'm Just Saying 4 Four Letter Word 5 The Roller 6 Soon Come Tomorrow 7 (I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine (Liam vocals) 8 Iz Rite 9 Off At The Next Exit 10 In The Bubble With A Bullet 11 The Beat Goes On 12 AKA....Broken Arrow 13 The Morning Son 14 Stop the Clocks 15 Wigwam
16 BONUSTRACK: Alone On The Rope
10/10. More than one hour of orgasm.
Noel only 5 out of 16 and we already knew 3 of them... Such a boring and disappointing album... An acoustic Start Anew could have made it.

I wanted Oasis to make a hard rock album something very close to the spirit of Motorhead.

Using all songs we've heard since the break-up:
1. Freaky Teeth (Liam) 2. I'm Just Saying 3. If I Had a Gun 4. A Simple Game of Genius (Liam) 5. Stranded on the Wrong Beach (Liam) 6. Everybody's on the Run (Liam if possible) 7. Four Letter Word 8. The Dying of the Light 9. The Death of You and Me 10. The Morning Son 11. Come On Outside (Liam) 12. Record Machine (Liam, 10 minute version)
I would have gladly waited 5 years for that album.

Voice of dissent here:
For Oasis I'd want all Noel songs - and there's no bigger fan of Beady Eye and BE than me.
That's the Oasis I loved and the one that was successful.
I don't want any more compromised half Noel, half LAG mixes with no central vision.

I actually did this a week or so ago whilst farting about with iTunes. Off the top of my head it was as follows:
1. Four Letter Word 2. AKA....What a Life 3. The Roller 4. Soon Come Tomorrow 5. If I Had a Gun (sparse, acoustic style, not that dreadful album version) 6. Stranded on the Wrong Beach 7. Flick of the Finger 8. Alone on the Rope 9. Soul Love 10. Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks (not a popular decision but I think its bloody great) 11. Evil Eye 12. A Simple Game of Genius
Bonus Tracks 1. Let the Lord Shine a Light on Me 2. Start Anew 3. Stop the Clocks
All excellent songs in their own right, just wouldn't fit in my album I don't think.
Notable exclusions I guess are Death of You and Me, Everybody's on the Run and Dream On from Noel + Millionaire, Wigwam (I think it's total shite but people on here love it), I'm Just Saying, Iz Rite and Second Bite from Beady Eye. The likes of Dying of the Light/Freaky Teeth/Just Let it Come Down Over Me not included as they've never had a proper finished version released.
Singles would be Flick of the Finger, WAL and The Roller.
So much effort into that post - what a sad act haha.

The new album would be boring if you connect the two albums, Oasis should create something a little more rock n roll.

The new album would be boring if you connect the two albums, Oasis should create something a little more rock n roll. Politely let me disagree. I hated any sense that Oasis "should" do anything. That was the very reason they got stuck in a box and we had compromised later albums. BE and HFB, whatever you think of them, are a "vision". Oasis should've just made good music - not "Oasis" music.

It's making this that i realise Be is so much better than DGSS.
1. Four Letter Word 2. Dream On (Noel vox) 3. Everybody's On the Run (Liam Vox) 4. The Death Of You and Me (Noel vox) 5. Evil Eye (one less chorus at the end) 6. Iz Rite 7. AKA... Broken Arrow (Noel vox) 8. Ballroom Figured (full band) 9. Soon Come Tomorrow 10. Soul Love 11. What a Life ! (Liam verse, Noel chorus) 12. (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach (Noel)
