this band's got too much 'nice little tracks' about 80% of their stuff are acoustic songs. almost NO rockers. something is definitely wrong.but I like it anyway. it sounds good and we've got Liam singing at least 15 new songs. top

Must admit its amazing what different taste we have, i think this tunes great so i'm surprised other people dont like it. Then you see some track by track lists where people like the complete opposite ! We're a tough old bunch to please arent we !

I quite like the "Marvin what's going on?" lyric it reminds me of "Oh Henry get off the phone" in Bowie's Suffragette City.

How did Face The Crowd make the album when they have 3 EXCELLENT bonus tracks? Off at the next exit is one of their best, Back after the break is also beautiful, just discovered this, and it's really catchy. Maybe not thát great, but could easily have been on the album, nice feel-good tune. Really reminds me of Oasis, could've/should've been on an Oasis album imho. Frustrating how some of Liam's better songs (BWTB, IBIA, this one) never make it to an album. But stumpers like Ain't got nothing or MOS do. I guess they rather have some generic rock 'n roll on their album than a beautiful ballad?

This definitely should have been on DOYS, or at least been used as one of the b-sides we never got from that era. Definitely has a DOYS vibe.

They shouldn't feel the need to balance out the album with generic rockers like Face The Crowd. I'd rather have an album with 10 interesting, understated and at times beautiful tracks than an album with 5 or 6 of those, and 4 generic rockers thrown on to balance it out to make it more up-tempo, whilst other much stronger and interesting tracks get left off. THAT is a sign of them being stuck in the past. People know they're a 'rock' band. SOTSOG would've been a much better album with a few of the slower b-sides on it, but they stuck on tripe like I Can See A Liar and PYMWYMI to even it out, Noel even has stated that. A great album doesn't need to have a fair-share of up-tempos if there are better songs that don't fill that particular criteria. Just ask ol' Jakey Bugg

This song is old innit? Amazing, should have been on the last 2 Oasis albums or one of the two Beady Eye's albums.

As nice as it is to have an even flow of songs through an album, the quality of the songs matters most. Case in point: LAMB left off in favour of ICSAL.

It's actually really good, probably in Liam's top 3 songs. Much better than Don't Brother Me.

Has anybody else noticed the beginning of Evil Eye is almost identical to the beginning of Strawberry Fields Forever. The first four or five seconds are very similar

This is by far my favourite bonus track from the album and one of my favourites overall. There's a definite Lennon vibe to it, with a hint of Bowie at times.

I was going to post about this the other day. Very similar to the version that appeared on The Beatles Anthology Volume 2 as well as various others bootlegs.

It reminds me of Hey Bulldog too much though.
YOU CAN TALK TO ME!
I've read of some spanish websites that Face the Crowd is the next single.

i noticed the strawberry fields thing on first play! just like the anthology/love intro!
i also agree completely with cloudburster, would much rather the more interesting tune like EE go on the record rather than rock dross like face the crowd!
