Ok, now that we know BE is gonna be an average album at best (and I if you think it's good - you are so fucking easy to please) there's a serious hope threat of them disbanding.
What should they do in the Beady Eye-Afterlife?
Gem - Should join Noel's live band and beg for fucking forgiveness. He's a great axeman and Noel could certainly use his guitar.
Liam - Lock himself for 5 years in a room and finally FINISH one fucking song, but I fear that he might release a solo LP next year called "Alright, Me & You Shalala" preceded by a single "Yeah, Shalala, Alright."
Sharrock - Great session drummer, should come back to his work with other artists.
Bell - I don't care. Maybe pottery?
Mehler - Whatever, he's a soldier of fortune anyway. Maybe he'll join Johnny Borrell's new band this time.

Why don't we give BE a chance before we totally write them off.
I think there immediate future should be to make sure as many people hear Soon Comes Tomorrow as they can.

I don't know what's worse, that you took the time to write that horseshit or that I wasted my time reading it.

Its nice that he went to the trouble to tell me that if I do like the album (God forbid) that its because I'm too easy to please rather than me actually liking it.

I don't wanna see BE break up, but on the other hand an acoustic tour of Noel, Gem and Chris (I think Noel said Chris is his favourite drummer ever last year) would be incredible. Maybe if BE take a bit of a break it could happen, who knows.

Gem should really join Noel. He should have when Oasis broke up in the first place.

Why would Gem want to join something where his creative input will be severely limited? Noel doesn't need Gem to make 'nice' records anyway.

That would be a positive tbh. Just be Noel's lead guitarist and do whatever he tells you to do. When his so called "creative input" isn't limited, we get dire like TBGO, TRC and SBOTA. And lord knows we don't need anymore of those.

I'm not talking about your leader, I'm talking about him, why would you join a control freak when you are currently an equal member in a band?

I'm fed up seeing people having a go at each other for having an opinion. God forbid you say you don't like the album or think it's poor. (Although I think it's unfair to judge it properly yet until we have a decent rip). But seriously, what's the problem with everyone? If you like it, - you like it. If you don't, - then you don't. Simples!
No need to throw your toy out of the pram just because someone thinks something different to you, or they openly think it's a bad album.
Personally, I think the album will be OK, but I'm not expecting anything outstanding. I've not really given the poor quality rip a listen as I'm gonna wait. But seriously, guys stop being so touchy.

I think Gem would go with Noel. Noel said before that he would have liked him, but didn't get in there fast enough. Liam will probably leave music for a few years, focus on Pretty Green, then try to reform Oasis. Chris will probably join another band that needs a drummer like he's always done. Andy will probably go and do some weird thing with people you've never heard of. Jay will go back to Kasabian. They don't have a permanent replacement, as far as I know. I'm under the impression that the move was temporary.

I too assume it was temporary because I really can't see why someone would quit Kasabian for Beady Eye (no, that's not an attack on BE I'm just saying that Kasabian are a bigger and better band).

Why the fuck would you hope they break up!? If you don't like them and think the albums 'average' then fine don't buy it/listen to it or care about Beady Eye anymore but some people love the band and have a different taste in music to your own so might really enjoy the album and want them to release more (like myself)
What satisfaction would it give you? Would it be because the fans of the band you have a different opinion from would get deprived from hearing more of their music and couldn't see them live anymore so you'd feel you were 'right' all along? Or perhaps more sadly would it make you feel like Noel won or something? I doubt Noel even gives a shit and would think anybody actually willing and hoping Beady Eye to fail and disband would be one sad, miserable vagina.

This thread needn't have provoked so many serious responses.
How can you possibly comment on an album which hasnt been heard in its entirety yet?
AKA If you had a gun, you would have jumped it

I'd rather Noel didn't hire Gem tbh, unless it's just for a tour.
Hopefully NGHFB will be a "revolving door" band (i.e. with members coming and going) as originally intended. I can't imagine the present members will want to lose their roles, but we all know Noel can be brutal when he wants to be.

I can't remember his surname... It's someone called Tim. I saw them at Teenage Cancer Trust and Give It Up For Comic Relief... They've REALLY lost something without Jay... It just doesn't sound right.
