Thanks for linking to the picture. Didn't know how on my phone. Is it that difficult to go to their facebook page and have a look? Takes about 15 seconds. Everyone else managed it.

^liam looks absolutely THRILLED to be signing all those sleeves great pic, thanks As you can see, the three different setlists behind him and only the third one seems to have 'w w' in the setlist. i really hope they decide to keep 'w w' in. i'm wondering, could 'soul love' turn out to be 'show me your love'?

Nice finding...! (although i can't read sh*t)
Not surprised they're keeping MG, sounds like a safe choice... although, since they're keeping two oasis tunes they could rotate them... hell i wouldn't mind if they played Wonderwall in one or other gig... i mean, rehearse half a dozen Oasis tunes and use it as a surprise element, this would give an extra surprise at live gigs which rarely happened in oasis' tours...

You know after thinking this thru , I agree with Lennon2217 , Not because he is my friend we disagree on occasion and state openly , but he is right IMO the nore they dig into the vault the more the comparisons to Oasis They don't need that I am all for giving the people what they want , but they got 2 albums now. I went to a couple of weller shows where very little jam was done and the ones he did were obscure , It may be time to for Liam to see where bdi stands without the crutch of mega hits by a different ( albeit pretty much the same ) band ...... It's only gonna lead to negative comparasins much like when Robert plant finally played zep. For years he did not , then when he threw the hits in when he got back to his solos shit the crowd deflated Just a thought

I will say this though , you gotta be careful with crowds when selecting mega hits ... When deep purple came back with perfect strangers in like 85 , there success is what brought back all the old bands , they were sorta ahead of the curve in cominfg back from the dead, anyway they did 2 nights at the Byrne arena ( meadowlands New Jersey ) And on night 2 they omitted" smoke on the water" ...... First time they ever did that it was later revealed ...there was a riot in the parking lot and in the hamster cage leading to lot and in the arena ,
Broken chairs , lights , overthrown trash. It made the papers and Ian Gillian when asked why they didnt play it said they always ,wondered what the reaction would be ...never again he said would they make that mistake ....one can only hope same wont be done if Liam throws in some classics but omits the giants ya know ?

' well________________what's the story, morning glory?.....' step up to the mic, Gem..... God bless.

I think they should continue to play Oasis songs. The majority of the people there are fans from years gone by, not brand new Beady Eye fans. A lot of their success (if I may be so bold as to call it success) stems from their Oasis days and that should not be swept under the carpet.
Just the two or three Oasis songs to satisfy, with the bulk of the set being Beady Eye stuff.

Play LAG songs then no one can complain Songbird and Turn Up The Sun; there's ya two Oasis songs, and they are great live

Play LAG songs then no one can complain Songbird and Turn Up The Sun; there's ya two Oasis songs, and they are great live Songbird is kind of a classic, so I can see them playing it at some point. But TUTS isn't. And those setlists aim to Festival, big shows where the crowd isn't made of fans. So they'll play Oasis classic, Liam said he wants to keep playing only two songs. So it's pretty safe to say they'll stick with RNRS and MG for the moment, they might change it during the tour. If Noel had decided to play ont 2 oasis songs during his tour, DLBIA would have been one of them and MF probably not. Same here. I can't see them play Wonderwall anyway.

On the picture, it seems it's the same ending song on the 3 setlists, does anyone manage to read it (or guess it) ?

They should play Step Into My World by Hurricane #1. Liam singing that with Andy and Gem playing the guitar solo would be AWESOME!!

and 'sleep freak' from Gem's Heavy Stereo days - listened to it the other day adn Liam singing it would be mega...
anyway, if Noel can get away with 50% of HFB gigs being Oasis tunes, can't see why the Beady boys should have to avoid them...

God bless.

God bless. That's a really good point Let It Bleed Honestly I don't know the right answer if there is even one to be fair .. One the one hand it's great for the younger fans no question On the other having seen the clash live , and seeing strummer solo the clash songs sounded different and rightfully so , me i was disappointed. And Gilmore ansd waters doing floyd for me really blew compared. To the wall just not the same ..... But hey that's me , your right its cool they do it ,,,but for the older fans at least me it takes away a bit. As well

As well when i saw Joe Strummer in 2000 the Clash songs he performed sounded just like the albums. Mick Jones didn't sing that much so it wasn't any different, really.........the weirdest thing about seeing Joe Strummer was how much younger his band was compared to him but they were great musicians. God bless.
