Am I the only one who finds the assumed "album art" to be a little bit odd? This was always something talked about and anticipated on this forum, and now that there is an update on the Beady Eye site showing what looks to be album art with nothing but a woman lying down exposing a boobie I see no discussion on this at all. I'm just as happy to see a boobie as the next guy, but it just seems out of place.
That doesn't take away from my excitement for the album though, looking forward to a new tune on 4/29!

The album art is odd IMO because the band wanted to put out and "out there" record. So to go with it, here is their "out there" album cover.

To be honest, I was more confused with DGSS album cover haha. At the time it seemed really weird, but I really dig it now. BE's cover is really cool to me though, I'm just wondering how they're going to package it so they can sell it in stores

I don't disagree with you there. I imagine it's another way to generate some buzz over the album as well. I guess that I was even more surprised that there was no discussion on it to this point. I first saw the update to the website this morning and assumed by this afternoon there would be all sorts of discussion. I guess because there is nothing to argue about, can't see many from this forum being anti-titty.

Their first release had dismal success . . . even strong fans found issue with a lot of the release, including the artwork. The pressure of needing a solid release has led them down the road of "shock" value being needed to get some notice. Unfortunately, for a group of 40 somethings to release an album with boobs on the covers comes across more "dirty old man" then "cool rebel".
I don't mind the art at all, but it does come across as a bit of a stretch.

I'm a bit more baffled by the complete lack of album title or band name on the cover to be honest. They could easily just put 'BE' somewhere in the white space.
The nip is powerful, but its powers will be rendered moot when covered by a sticker anyhow. Don't totally get it, but it is a better cover than DGSS & NGHFB (not to compare).

If it had their name on it, it would instantly put a lot of the general public off. People see a cover with a half naked lady on it though and they become intrigued and look further. All the Dad's (not being sexist)wandering aimlessly round supermarkets, bored shitless while their partners do the weekly shop will pick it up to take a look, even if they have to cover some of it.

I like I to be honest, I fucking hate obvious album covers that bands put out time & again....oasis' whole career is blighted by shite album covers (my 1 major oasis gripe was he artwork) going down the Beatles rip offs or trying to be obscure/cover route, this beady eye cover reminds me in many ways to the strokes is this it & that is heralded as genius.
Let's be honest this forum is full of negative trolls/idiots who are never happy no matter the boys do (& they're the fans!) so they could've resurrected Picasso to paint them a cover & some feral mong would still find it not good enough.
Slightly edgy different cover to all past efforts (Noel, oasis included) to go with a progressive sounding album what more do you miserable mongs want?....jeez.
Enjoy it whilst you can, music scene is dull as shite at present & this album run up has perked my musical penis up a bit.

I like it because it's different, it's vintage without being obvious, the colors used so far have been very cool with a tinge of psychedelia.
Plus, I think album covers look weird at the beginning. When you get used to it, and can relate it to a piece of music, it gets better.
