So is FOTF the lead single or not? In addition, is ok for me to post a download link to a enhanced version since it has not been officially released? obviously if it's from a leak no, but an enhanced KCRW radio edit is fine

As much as I love Flick Of The Finger I also don't think it's the lead single. Remember Beatles and Stones getting played on some radio station before DGSS got released? I think they got that 4 track promo and just played this one at random.
This Mark lad has been spot on so far so I'm guessing he's right.

So somebody please clarify this for me: Kill Switch is to be the lead single and the earliest we are going to hear it is when? I saw somewhere that it was to be played on Radio 2 tomorrow but I suspect that's bollocks.
Anybody know for sure when we get to hear it?

If this is true then I have a great feeling about this album. FOTF is a great track that really grew on me but it's not single material, in my opinion.

Some people have been tweeting this...
"The new Beady Eye album includes these tracks: 'Kill Switch', Flick Of The Finger', 'Superball' and 'The Last Of The Mad Days'"
Dont's know if there's any truth in that...

Because your original post seems more accurate as we know there is a 4 track promo out there.

According to Mick Lynham from RCA Records twitter.com/MickLynham, ''Flick Of The Finger'' is only an album track and the lead single is called ''Kill Switch'' apparently. If this is true Zane Lowe will be playing it. I don't think Mick Lynham is very reliable because he said on the 26th of March the new single would be getting played next week on Zane Lowe which would have been the 1st of April so he was wrong about that.

Yeh although even that could be wrong as dennizz said the record plugger had 4 tracks, one of them was Flick the Finger and another was Flick the Finger Instrumental, these would leave 2 other tracks and they've named 3 other songs. I suppose Kill Switch might not be part of the promo but you'd think they would use the lead single to promote the album...

Confirmed by who?
I still believe mick lynham he's definetly bit of a blagger but not a trolling for attention as such.
There's big difference between getting a date wrong to going out on limb and making up a song title and saying it will be the single

Maybe when he tweeted that it was planned to get premiered that week, sure I read the single date got pushed back?

It could be that he knew radio stations were getting the promo then and assumed that it would be played straight away. But it could all be bollocks. I hope we do get something with a bit more of a hook as a single.

I can't imagine the band announcing the name of the new single and first radio play and have it be something that's been played on an american radio station a week and a half before, and then over and over on youtube. Doesn't feel like something Zane or the band would be very happy with... I'd bet £50 on the song being played next monday being some other song with more of a single "feel". And I'm inclined to believe this Mick Lynham fella. This could mean that with a single release this month, we could have heard 3 songs by the end of it!

I guess that's always the risk of giving it out to every random radio station two weeks before someone is due to have the first play, someone is going to be stupid or naughty and play it before then. But I think it's likely that Zane has first play on Kill Switch if it exists and as some other people have said, this is just the intro to it which the DJ thought he could get away with playing. If it is just an intro, it's a quality one. The titles seem to fit nicely and it stops suddenly, so I'm getting intrigued as to how all this is going to sound.

Possibly done deliberately to try to build some buzz. If you send out a promo to enough people, someone's going to play it regardless of what you've agreed with Radio One. Make sure it's something sufficiently "different" and hopefully you get people talking.

I might be wrong but I think he said it would be played in Zane's show even before Zane announced it. Anyways, time will tell if he's right regarding Kill Switch.

Those tweets stem from a post I made on facebook.com/beadyeye.records yesterday night. We had rumours inboxed by fans.
