I used to be quite active discussing all things oasis related on this board but to be honest since the split I I got sick of everyone taking sides, bitching & moaning about 2 of the greatest British rock stars to have lived, I thought this was a fan forum?...I expect constructive criticism & believe its healthy but the majority of what I was reading appeared childish & pathetic.
We all have our opinions on the brothers output since the split & it is rightly varied, not one persons view is correct....it's just an opinion, my views were that each of the gallaghers albums were good but lacked that special something......EACH OTHER, Liam is at his best singing his brothers songs & Noel struggles to carry an album by himself, to be honest I was mostly disappointed in Noel's effort as his past had me expecting more whereas Beady eye gave us what I expected but never the less I enjoyed & continue to enjoy both albums for what they are, an extension of my favourite band.
On hearing Flick of the finger I must say I'm excited for music again, no other band etc captivates my imagination more than oasis did & the gallaghers do, there is nothing exciting in music anymore so Liam & Co popping up with an unusual, weird, unexpected yet epic tune is exactly what my ears and the world needed, I am so excited for the album now & can't wait to hear the new tune in top quality audio through my headphones.
Quit bitching & enjoy the music.....it's good to have Liam back.

Same here. After the breakup I feel like I fell out with this forum. Haven't posted here in a very long time. I've completely immersed myself in my film/photo career that time to read through pages of essay long rebuttals in the merits of why Noel suxx or Liam's cheeseball slippers just wasn't my cup'a.
Really great to hear BE's new track. Instrumentation wise probably not their best, but ok never the less. I really dig the lyrics and the message it's trying to convey to the listener. Anyone else dig the lyrics? ....it's good to be back in here.

Its got attitude and the theme strikes me as being extremely relevant. I'm also very pleased that they kept the lyrics short and precise and didn't just repeat them for the sake of it like they did on most songs off DGSS. |

Well said! I hate all the spiteful bitching and moaning, too. And though I've really enjoyed BE and NGHFB, I definitely agree that Liam and Noel work best together as Oasis.

Well said. I dont know why on earth some of the trolls dont get deleted/blocked though, they just obviously get a kick of slating everything Beady Eye do. If you dont like them great, move on.
