Nice to see a thread about this fantastic band! The Tears are really good as well.
I like the new album, it's better than Head Music and A New Morning (I actually like a couple of songs on this ANM though). My favourite track from it is probably Sabotage, along with Barriers.
Gems from their back catalogue that hasn't already been listed here: Together (b-side) The Chemistry Between Us (CU) Europe Is Our Playground (b-side) Whipsnade (b-side) Lazy (CU) By The Sea (CU) The Power (DMS) Breakdown (Suede)
My top 3 with the band: 1. Stay Together 2. Trash 3. Drowners

Pale Snow is beautiful, Dog Man Star feelings throughout the song.

One of my favourite bands,
Like others have said, it's their lesser known songs which are the absolute gems of the bands back catalogue,
Personal favourites are Europe is Our Playground, My Dark Star, The Living Dead, Sleeping Pills, The Asphalt World and of course the classics Animal Nitrate and Stay Together,
I got into the band really late when I brought the two disk best of about 5 years ago. I couldn't believe how much better disk 2 (the b-sides and album tracks) was to disk 1 (the singles). I mean Oasis are famed for their b-side and album track quality but it still probably wouldn't trump their singles collection as much as Suede's does

Outsiders is classic Suede, all the songs I've heard so far are great.
A bit of a Britpop renaissance going on as it all sounds as great as the new Blur album, which I love.

it's a good album. when you are young is a very colossal introduction to many beautiful songs not convince me a lot Pale Snow, beautiful atmosphere but do not see a song right organized, it is not a very complete song or an interlude. I Can not Give Her What She Wants is a bit too tiring in its slowness although the final part revives. songs that I prefer most are I Do not Know How To Reach You, What I'm Trying to Tell You and The Fur & the Feathers

Really dig 'When You Are Young', epic and strings-heavy opener which stylistically reminds me of Mansun's 'The Chad Who Loved Me', another great opening track.

I've heard the new one's good. Cast, your thoughts? Its not ''good''. It's more than great. . It's , imo, a new Suede 'masterpiece', up with their debut or Dog Man Star!!! I m into Suede before they release their debut album and i v got their whole discography, everything. When i hear ''Night Thoughts'' i really dont know what to think of it. The more i hear it, the more i undertand it, the more i love it. I hear the album everyday, at least twice, i cant stop listening to it. And every time its getting even better and i m trying hard not to compare it with Dog Man Star. Sometimes i m thinking that its even better!!! We are talking about music with quality, with debth and beauty, about strong and cathcy melodies. Songs with a great flow, with ambition and vision Make yourself a favour and buy it or at least hear it (more than once) its hard to think that you are not gonna like it/love it.

Fantastic band especially with their first three albums, plus that B-side collection Sc-Fi Lullabies (the days when you bought a single and you didn't get some remix but actually top notch songs, with three to four singles added up to a album themselves)which along with Oasis, The Stone Roses Arctic Monkeys and The Smiths for awesome B-sides. I Love the Debut album, just a lovely mix of classic Glam rock and swaggering indie. Dog Man Star is a dark masterpiece probably the best album of the 90's. I love Coming Up, it's like their commercial album isn't it really. They were going for the big time. After that they started to lose that swagger but I've seen them live a few times and they are really are a excellent act. Great band.
Damn it was great to be a 90's kid with so many great bands like Suede, Blur, Pulp, Oasis, Supergrass.

Only finished it now, shame on me I know, amazing album, dunno yet which one I prefer, this or Bloodsports.
While Bloodsports recalled their debut, this album has more of that theatrical vibes of Dog Man Star, a thing which is now their trademark, incredible how Brett still has a great voice till today.
There is something for everyone: “When You are Young” is a great opener; “Outsiders” and “No Tomorrow” both could have been on their debut; “Like Kids” and “What I’m Trying To Tell You” rock like the Coming Up era; “Pale Snow” and “Tightrope” sounds like the tragic romantic moments on Dog Man Star; “I Don’t Know How to Reach You” and “Learning To Be” are as good as the songs on their b-sides compilation.
Wonderful album, nice production and great melodies, this ( and Bloodsports too) is a much better album than the last Blur album which featured poor unremarkable melodies only covered with great production values.
Great to see that they are still releasing brilliant new music after all those years.

Suede always have great artwork.
It's a shame more bands don't stick to the same typeface as they go on making albums. Whatever shot has been used for the cover, it always makes it that bit more special for fans to see the band's name written up exactly as it was on their debut album.

Highly unusual to release a penultimate track as a lead single. Like it though.
