Liam made some headlines and got an article in the NME by writing a tweet. Got in the picture, with news around the corner, while doing almost nothing. I think people should think twice before calling him 'stupid'. You know what they say, 'the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about'. I'd rather his MUSIC was in the paper, not his antics. Way too much of that, when it should be about the music. God knows it's gonna need to be that way soon for this band........ Mav Totally agree with you. On that Just don't think it's his way ,, it would be nice if it was all music for sure ,, but at mid 30 s it's tough to change a winning formula. Half the world already thinks Liam is a cock anyway, i don't think thats really going to bother him. He's already a living legend and i dont really think he does embarrassment tbh. Yea pretty much spot on ... I think Liam is a bit more clever than the press give him credit for ...most of his outrageous stuff come at or near lp releases and as they say no publicity is bad ( or some thing like that) Alot of people especially in America when I read newpaper articles and I quote " the lager swilling lout" so he is typecast to start...why not be even more over the top around record release time ? Genius actually ...sorta the way Ali back in the day would promote his fights ,.. Calm. Calm calm Then all the jokes , outrageous quotes and predictions for build up to fight ..then sellout and more millions ( even though he squandered it ) Just sayin the lad ain't as thick as alot may think ya know ? I understand what your saying but Ali could talk with his mouth and fists. Its been a very long time since Liams been able to back up his talk with his music. Thats why he looks ridiculous sometimes. Liam getting in the press by saying silly things isnt going to work anymore, hes been doing for more than 10 years now. |

I'll be honest, I've never heard of the band blue and would completely miss the reference. Again, I'm not the only person who thought it was Blur. Once again Liam hits the nail bang on the head. The only one who cuts the shit, stays true to who he is and says it like it really is. I sometimes wonder what 90s Noel (pre-Downing Street obviously) would make of the person that he has become. My guess is he would fucking despise him. I think it's a good thing Noel has changed over the years. When he was younger he seemed to be much bitter than he is now, especially during the Heathen Chemistry era, he didn't look like he was having any fun at all and seemed quite hostile during interviews. |
