Oasis are playing no BHN, SOTSOG, or HC songs live this tour. Do you think the the tour for the next album will skip over DBTT as well? Or do you think some of the songs will last? If so, which ones?

If th eband have got any sense then they will let some of these newer ones stay. TUTS, TIOBI and ABW should be kept, they are great tunes.
They have made a mistake, in my view, by allowing their more recent material to get dismissed so quickly for the old stuff. I mean yeah, people expect Live Forever and probably DLBIA, and they enjoy playing RNRS and C&A - we get it.
But to just drop great tunes like SCYHO and Hindu Times, not to mention GLIO and some of the hidden gems from the BHN and SOTSOG eras, is dumb. The view of the haters, that Oasis are just a self-tribute act who rely on decade old material, is only exacerbated by this attitude. They should play more recent stuff - only playing Songbird from the HC days is a travesty (not to diss Songbird!).

Weren't they playing "Little By Little" for a while on this tour? And I thought they played "SCYHO" early on. Maybe not.
But that's beside the point. I know what you're saying, seanppp and everyone else here. Actually, I'm surprised they haven't dug a little deeper into their first two albums (and songs from that era) at this point of the tour. It seems Oasis (unfortunately) tend to fall back on what's comfortable for them, what has worked before. I remember seeing them on the "Morning Glory" tour, and they sort of opened with "Acqueisce." I thought, "cool. The awesome b-side. I'll probably never hear them play this live again." Ha ha. They've played it every single time I've seen them since, and I read where they just added it back to the set list this time out (meanwhile, "Some Might Say" remains M.I.A.).
I know they've gotta play the hits and all, and that "C&A" and "DLBIA" and a couple others are surefire show stoppers, but my gripe is that, besides those "givens" I just mentioned, Oasis always seem to fall back on the SAME hits. I'm probably not the only fan who would love to see them give, say, "Acquiesce" a rest (great though it is) and give, say, "Hindu Times" a chance. Or maybe see if they can't give "DYKWIM" a little more juice with the new members in the band. Or, if they MUST play the older hits, throw everyone for a loop and open with "Live Forever" or "C&A." Just as an example, I've seen Cheap Trick open several shows with "I Want You to Want Me," one of their signature tunes, and NO ONE seemed to mind, even when the second tune they played turned out to be a relative obscurity (I also thought it had the added benefit of re-energizing the band to play a song they must be pretty darn tired of playing by now. You can't tell me that Noel looks forward to playing "C&A" anymore. Play it first, get it over with, the crowd will be going nuts, and Oasis can follow it up with practically whatever they want).
But, the original question was, what tunes from DBTT will survive to the NEXT tour. I'd say "Mucky Fingers" and "TUTS." "Lyla" seems like an obvious choice, too, but then again, when I first heard "Hindu Times," I thought "there's a song that'll be on every tour until Liam keels over," and they're not playing it.

I really liked Turn Up The Sun as an opener.
I'm sure that Lyla will stick around. They could do a lot with that live

I'm pretty sure they will drop TUTS and Lyla. Not so sure about the other ones. It'll depend on how the next album's like. I wish they would go back to old days and play every tune that is on the CD. :s

At the end it depends on Liam what songs they can play. exactly right as he's the one singing most of em, they ditched scyho coz his voice cudnt reach the high notes. in 2001 when they did she's electric noel sang it coz liam cudnt manage it. they dropped DYKWIM in 2002 coz liam cudnt remember the words properly.

you'd think just for their own sakes they change around the set more...surely you'd like some variety, esp when you've got so many great songs to choose from. apart from slide away and live forever which i see as absolute prerequisites...i dont know which of these songs will stick around from DBTT.
them dropping a song cos liam cant remember the words is completely stupid. make him learns the bloody words, they arent that complicated! and its a good song -.- besides, its his fuckin job. i understand about his voice though. but lyrics!!

i think it also depends on zac i dont think he is the best drummer we all saw what he did with supoersonic at glasto and that alot of the songs have changed ie whiteys style to zacs just listen to live forever the suttle variations. Also i dont think zacs style suits songs off hc or be her now or sotsog could you imagine zac playin go let it out

Whitey did Live forever, wonderwall and DLBIA better than him, but Zak can still play those songs. And yeah, I don´t think that Zak would be very good with Go let it out also..those songs are kinda different style where he is good. Still I´m very happy that he´s in the band now because of all other songs what they´re playing now, his more rockier style suits great.

Can't remember the lyrics to DYKWIM?Totally weak Liam.Write em on yer hand for all I care just play the tune!
Hopefully Oasis will keep TUTS,TIOBI(Give Liam an extra break to sing out of the ordinary songs?).Maybe an acoustic set with PotQ and LTBL?
I'd like to see em bring back Stand By Me,DYKWIM?,and It's Getting Better(Man!!!)from BHN,GLIO! from SotSoG,and The Hindu Times and LBL from HC.
