My dad saw Gem at the Kasabian gig last night, and Gem confirmed that the whole album is due to be re-recorded next week, as Liam has been booted from the band. I am now the new Beady Eye frontman.

i have to admit. that lyrics are not that important to me. if they fit to the tune it's alright, one of the reasons why i like "bring the light", cause no one needs really deep lyrics over a boogie piano rocker, but these lyrics sound quite .... weird to me, but maybe they work with the song. although at the moment i can't imagine them being written by one of Beady Eye

Mentioning Gibson guitars in a song, that's fucking daft I think so too but maybe they saw a way to make money via product placement. I mean songs are the only territory unused by brands. If the song gets a lot of airplay, who knows how many guitars they could sell. |
