Can't believe there has been no news from the Beady Eye camp still, nothing new has been said about the album now for months! Alison said this week right? Gonna have to be by Friday then so tomorrow or the next day. Hope that whatever is going on the Andy, Gem, and Liam are working on in the studio isn't a big deal. Sitek is back in the States right? Couldn't be any sort of difference of opinion could it? I mean, they already have sample tapes out with 4 songs on. What on earth could they be doing? Does that not strike anyone else as weird? Being in the studio working on an album that has already been done for weeks? |

the in the studio came from a tweet by some london studio (since deleted) it said they were going over the mastering of some tracks. so no need for re-records or sitek.

All too quiet considering it's less than two weeks for the first play. That's what i thought, but thought might've missed something he said. Like you say is very quiet, you'd think they'd announce something pre first single play maybe next Wednesday but again like you say anyone's guess |

Although that is a quote from the Q interview with that horrible front cover from two years ago. |

I don't see why everyone gets so worked up about that fan page. It's probably handy for anyone that doesn't follow this board as religiously as we do. Certainly if you follow this board you pretty much don't need any other sources. It's basically a distillation of all the good and bad of this board. Lots of shit is posted here as well. Even we can't always tell the difference. I do find it funny when comments that are made here obviously in jest are presented as facts there though. I mean the person that runs that board must be a member that checks in quite a lot judging by how rapidly quotes from here are posted. How they can't tell an obvious joke from a genuine tip or even a convincingly presented false tip floors me. It's not for us though. It's handy for other fans who wanna keep up on the rumours though. Be nice if there were an "unverified report" indicators though. Like how Live4ever has a tabloid report under articles from tabloid sources.  |

That's good news, paying close attention to the mastering is a good thing. with the producer they had its pleasing to hear they aren't tinkering with the sounds. |

What are most people expecting the new single to sound like? from what was said about experimenting and the words liam used to describe it, the sound of the song for lack of better words id imagine would be a bit like Scorpio Rising, with a bit of Kasabian's song Empire in their and then rubbed all over with some Dave Siteks production like TV on the radio....

What are most people expecting the new single to sound like? from what was said about experimenting and the words liam used to describe it, the sound of the song for lack of better words id imagine would be a bit like Scorpio Rising, with a bit of Kasabian's song Empire in their and then rubbed all over with some Dave Siteks production like TV on the radio.... OK They haven't even started a promotion campaign yet and so need to do things right.
At this point I would expect there to be an official announcement followed by a clip or teaser within the next week or so. I am keeping my Beady Eye on the official Website, FB & Twitter.
Can't wait to hear some new material.
