i would not call that a song or not even the cover of "neu!", because it was a soundcheck. to get the levels right they are all playing on one chord, for the sound engineer to mix them. i know this procedure of soundchecks, so i don't think, that this has anything to do with their upcoming single or if they though of playing "neu!". i think they just said "come on gem, gimme something on D and the rest join in"
