I just hope BDI make a good album, don't care what songs they cover.
God bless.

In most probability Liam will pull out songs that we've heard a 1000 times already and pass it off as rare. I frankly don't see them performing The Boy With The Blues or Eyeball Tickler. I also don't think he'll do anything from the Be Here Now era for the simple reason that he just can't pull off a Stay Young now even if he wanted to. But I'm really excited to see what they do play. Hopefully they prove me wrong and pull out some gems from the back catalog. I'm optimistic. I think Liam could definitely pull off some Be Here Now tunes still if they do it in a different key, just like they did for My Big Mouth on the DOYS tour, that worked really well I thought, same goes for D'you Know What I Mean performed on the HC tour. Really excited to what they decide to play, we could be in for a right treat.

I said it before and ill say it again.. If they drop the key of the song, Fade In-Out would be fucking amazing
As would It's Gettin' Better Man, they wouldnt have to touch that either as Liam could pull it off

mrs alex turner is now following me. I came up with 4 songs on the top of my head. and I couldnt think of any other better song they could play on the next tour (nevermind Songbird, it's good but who wants to hear this at a gig..oh yeah.. girls) wouldnt like to pick up just 4? well pick 10 if you want. just pick them. why wouldn't want you to pick them? you say you don't agree, but come up with something, come on. people like you always whining about everything but never bringing anything. oooh yeah, you did pick a lot of songs.. unknown Arctic Monbkeys songs. you did pick a list of songs people have never heard of. so if you can pick 10 alex turner songs, I tell you - you CAN pick 5 songs here. you can do it, man. why God. why people like this. Don't flatter yourself mate, i was just joining in the discussion. As i said i couldn't pick the 4 'best' tracks as i like more than 4, i like basically all of them the same. And i have made no such list of unknown Arctic Monkeys songs? You sure you're feeling ok pal?

I think Rock N Roll Star and Morning Glory will stay pretty constant and I think they will do one of two things....
1. Play 2 Oasis songs at each gig, Rock N Roll Star and Morning Glory at festivals and "obscure" songs at their own gigs
or
2. Play 4 Oasis songs at their own gigs, Rock N Roll Star and Morning Glory (sometimes replace them with other upbeat classics like Cigarettes and Alcohol) and 2 obscure songs and just drop the obscure songs for festivals.
I think it's great that Liam plays Rock N Roll Star and Morning Glory because they're great songs and Liam obviously enjoys singing them so I think they'll keep them in, but it would be great if they changed the two obscure songs each night for spontaneity and to give people reasons to see them more than once

Sure they are great songs...but Oasis had tons of great songs and I bet Liam loves singing a lot of them. I'm also hoping that there will be enough rocking BDI stuff that they won't have to do only upbeat Oasis songs. After 2 albums they should have enough material for a pretty balanceed set.

It would be cool to hear a live version of Scorpio Rising. Anyway, they'll probably do a new cover song for one of the b-sides. "we love you" by the stones was in their mind since Dig out your soul tour. i have a pic at home from a german "Gitarre & Bass" magacine, which visited their rehearsals, before they started the tour and on the list was "we love you". i think noel mentioned it, that they would have played it at the electric proms with the crouch end choir and liam said in an interview on a festival during the DGSS tour, that "we love you" would still be cool "cause we've already tried it". it would fit to the style of their next album, but thats what i'm thinking reading their describtions of the sound "we love you" is quality street. I never knew they wanted to use it on the DOYS tour. I thought it was just a DGSS thing. Cheers mate.

I don't think Beady Eye will play any Noel written material and only time they had was the Olympics, because noel was ok it. I don't think Noel will allow Beady Eye play his songs for free and Liam will refuse to pay him, so I think just his or Andy's or Gem's song from oasis era will be played. Fans can dream all they want.

It's not just Wonderwall the one time There was a longish thread somewhere on the finances of it. BDI wouldn't have to pay Noel to play them live themselves but Noel would get paid from the licensing fees of whatever venue that BDI plays the songs at. Noel would get paid...but it wouldn't be as direct as Liam or Beady Eye paying him money
