Boy With The Blues.. yeah it's a good song..but not THAT good. if they had put it on DBTT or DOYS, people (here, only here) would still have complained that they should have put something else instead. gimme I'm Outta Time, BOADC, Hung In A Bad Place, Turn Up The Sun - those were their great songwriting moments with Oasis. Outside of Turn Up The Sun, I can't tell if your taking a piss or not.  well you wouldnt see me doing so anyway? fucking weirdo and tell me which songs are better than those 4? it's their best songs from the Oasis years. |

Would love to see them perform some of their own songs from Oasis such as Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, Eyeball Tickler, The Boy With The Blues, Turn Up The Sun - I think they'd all go down brilliantly live and it'd be such a treat for us to hear any of them performed live, especially Eyeball Tickler and The Boy With The Blues which have never been performed live before.
Anyone else think The Boy With The Blues would be an epic way to close their gigs with a choir joining them on stage for the 'Come all together' part and just jamming out the outro? Would absolutely love to see that.
In reality though I think we will just see the big Oasis hits such as Morning Glory and Rock N Roll Star with them now and again throwing a surprise in, hope I'm wrong though.
Liam did say he wants to perform some obscure Oasis tunes and with Be Here Now being Liam and Andy's favourite Oasis record I wouldn't be surprised if we see a couple songs from it.

mrs alex turner is now following me.
I came up with 4 songs on the top of my head. and I couldnt think of any other better song they could play on the next tour (nevermind Songbird, it's good but who wants to hear this at a gig..oh yeah.. girls)
wouldnt like to pick up just 4? well pick 10 if you want. just pick them. why wouldn't want you to pick them? you say you don't agree, but come up with something, come on. people like you always whining about everything but never bringing anything.

Even though the split was not a bad one it reminds me of the tour plant did when he first played zep , for years he toured without playing tunes out of respect for them ....but after the lp with tall cool one On it I am too burnt to rememenvpber cata He played them At MSG I remember black dog ,whole lotta love , lemon song amongst others it was awesome because for years he denied us zep tunes the funny thing was every time he played one the crowd would explode ..and there was this girl in frot of me sitting down and looking at her boyfriend mouthing what song is this !!!! No bs She was there for plant not zep listened to them it was kinda funny It's what I guess Liam did last tour but plant did this for years of course the fans want the old treasures but I guess to plant and maybe to Liam that one girl amongst the thousands that wanted the new ones are the fans he is trying to reach now ? |

I know people go on about how they shouldn't perform Noel written songs but the way I see it is Liam brought a lot of them songs to life and made them what they are, they wouldn't of reached the heights they did without Liam's vocals, he was as much as apart of Oasis as Noel so I see nothing wrong with it really.
I personally would love to see them perform the songs listed above but I just have a feeling they will just go down the greatest hits route with the odd surprise chucked in now and again.

In most probability Liam will pull out songs that we've heard a 1000 times already and pass it off as rare.
I frankly don't see them performing The Boy With The Blues or Eyeball Tickler. I also don't think he'll do anything from the Be Here Now era for the simple reason that he just can't pull off a Stay Young now even if he wanted to.
But I'm really excited to see what they do play. Hopefully they prove me wrong and pull out some gems from the back catalog. I'm optimistic.

Agreed Bruno I think if you go to see them with that mindset you will be real happy man Me can't do it il support the album .....but the concert for me will just be a huge letdown ..I don't know how the others who have seen them feel But after knebworth wembley, Manchester gigs in uk earl court And all the us gigs Anything beady does for me will be a bummer and I don't want to go into a gig with that mindset ya know? Ill watch DVD though and be oblective. But I can't see it. Sorta like watching your ex be happy with anew guy ,,deep down your glad for them as I am for beady But don't wanna see the hugs and all ya know? |

I will go see I think cause it's a different vibe than beady is Noel plays much different live than beady so the oasis vibe won't be as obvious to me But I hope beady eye sell out worldwide they can survive without my 50 bucks ....I think I contributed enough money to Liam to esrn a pass this once |
