I know is kind of repeptitive and boring...but theres any posibility the band will keep Morning Glory and Rock'n'Roll Star in the set, knowing that they'll be promoting new stuff?
To be honest, I'm kind of hoping to hear 'Turn up the sun', 'Hung in a bad place', 'I'm Outta time', etc. at some point...

If Liam sings I'm Outta Time, that would be amazing. Listening to Dig Out Your Soul again, there's a bunch of songs that would be excellent: Bag It Up, Shock of the Lightning, I'm Outta Time... Probably they'll just include a couple of these songs but focus mainly on the new album and DGSS.

I personally would love Born On A Different Cloud, it sounded immense on the Heathen Chemistry tour

If they want to keep more atention on them they should stay with RnR Star and MG or replace them with familiar songs(that will atract more people) and not the deep cuts that us fans want to hear(stil atracts people but in less quantity).

True. If they want to attract people by playing Oasis songs, they should choose tunes that are well-known and loved, like RNRS and MG. Playing Oasis stuff that's not better or more popular than their Beady Eye material? I see no reason to do that. Hardcore fans will be there anyway, and unlike Noel Beady Eye are actually trying to form a band identity.

Liam said they were going to be playing a obscure tracks. Although that was ages ago and I doubt they had decided the tracks they were going to do.
I hope they follow in Noel's recent footsteps and play a few things that have never been played live before. Headshrinker would be ideal for me.
Rock 'n' Roll Star was pretty good. I would mind hearing that if they decided to play it. Liam sounded pretty good. If they do Morning Glory again I hope Gem and Andy step up for the backing vocals because I think it sounds better with them.

So, lets suppose that our dream comes true and they start playing some oasis heh ...but, wouldn't it be detrimental to Different Gear material? thinking that they'll keep the set around 17 songs?

If they go obscure, I'd better get a Boy With The Blues played then.

Why the shit would anyone here want Beady Eye to go out of the way to please the casual fan? I would love to hear RnRS or MG but it would be really great to hear Girl In The Dirty Shirt or Eyeball Tickler.
I hope they mix it up every night or at least rotate 10 or twelve songs.
Fact is playing the same couple of big songs isn't going to add to the fanbase, the only thing that will add a few to it is a great new album.

They might aswell change there name to 'Oasish' if they start doing all the big ones. On the other hand, I'm surprised they haven't done their "own" Oasis tunes.

Whoops. I types Headshrinker but meant Eyeball Tickler. These night shifts are killing me. I hope they increase the number personally. 17 songs is pretty short. They just didn't have the catalogue to make it more than that I think. Although maybe that was another reason that Liam's voice faired better than usual that tour and they shouldn't increase it. The great thing about DGSS was that they were able to play everything live including b-sides. But I don't think everything on DGSS really needs airing again. I hope they keep in Wigwam, FLW, The Roller, BTL (it may not be the best song but it certainly keeps the energy up), The Morning Son, World Outside my Room. The rest I think I could take or leave. If I am able to get to a show I would also love to hear Sons of the Stage. I sometimes think that is my favourite thing they have recorded even if it is a cover. Mostly I am hoping they keep up with doing every song they have live at some point though. It'll mean a rotating setlist but I hope it happens. Liam seems more likely to soundcheck with BDI so they might be able to change up the set more that Oasis did.

Boy With The Blues.. yeah it's a good song..but not THAT good. if they had put it on DBTT or DOYS, people (here, only here) would still have complained that they should have put something else instead.
gimme I'm Outta Time, BOADC, Hung In A Bad Place, Turn Up The Sun - those were their great songwriting moments with Oasis.

I agree about them taking the chance to do their own Oasis tunes. Forget all the "they shouldn't play Noel's stuff" talk. A lot of their Oasis stuff barely got played or didn't get played at all. I like having a live version. And it's be great if they even rotated through some of the lesser know, lesser played LAG tunes. Maybe 1 Oasis hit (different ones every night) and then a 1 lesser known LAG song (also different every night) I'm sure Liam and co don't want to attract an audience that are basically coming to see the 2-3 Oasis songs they do. There is no point in increasing venue size if you are only doing it because people are coming for nostalgia.

Hmm.. I like how Noel plays it, even if it is for a short moment (at 3 minutes). I think it would be a good song played live. It has potential in my ears at least

i really hope, that they don't want to please the casual oasis fans, that are only going to their concert to hear wonderwall. really hope, that they go a brave route and dig out pearls like "pass me down the wine", "turn up the sun" and FINALLY please give "keep the dream alive" a chance to shine live!! i bet, this would have been a live highlight during DBTT tour, if they would have played it. they should take their chance of a new start and play what they want, not what the fans want, be brave and you will have a smaller but better fanbase, that stays loyal

It would be cool to hear a live version of Scorpio Rising. Anyway, they'll probably do a new cover song for one of the b-sides.

"we love you" by the stones was in their mind since Dig out your soul tour. i have a pic at home from a german "Gitarre & Bass" magacine, which visited their rehearsals, before they started the tour and on the list was "we love you". i think noel mentioned it, that they would have played it at the electric proms with the crouch end choir and liam said in an interview on a festival during the DGSS tour, that "we love you" would still be cool "cause we've already tried it". it would fit to the style of their next album, but thats what i'm thinking reading their describtions of the sound
